"See all I've made", said God, "the hills, the sea, the sky, the stars." And I was some of the mud that got to sit up and look around. Lucky me, lucky mud." -Kurt Vonnegut, Cat's Cradle Adding the cement skin to one of my armatures in this hyperlapse. #contemporarysculpture #workinprogress

Welding the last armature for this series of sculptures. Next up is sealing and wrapping all 6 of them with wire mesh before sculpting on the cement skin.

Impromptu Valentine creations Carnelian, Jasper and Rhodonite pendants and rings. I'm obsessed with how these carnelian hearts look like lozenges. ❤️ #handmadejewelry #carnelian #valentine

It is so satisfying making the armatures for this series of sculptures. This one is getting a hard cement skin. I am excited to experiment with making some with translucent skins. ✨✨🏮✨✨ Contemporarysculpture Welded steel

My first biophiliac ferrocement sculpture is almost finished. Waiting until we have a few string of decent temperature days before applying a stain and the sealer. Now on to welding five more armatures. #biophiliacdesign

Happy Small Business Saturday! I've been a one woman micro business since about 2008, but I did sell my art on the street and at galleries before that. 2008 marks the beginning of my ecommerce journey. I am grateful to have had supporters throughout all those years that collected my creations. 🖤🔥

Melting silver scrap that is no longer useful in my crucible, transforming it with fire. Will this place be better than the centralized bait and switch community builders that turned into pay to play isolation platforms and echo chambers? Let's hope.
