#qwant came and went. Decided to use it as my default search engine. HUGE negative is that if you search for videos, it only searches YouTube and Dailymotion. So any other video platform is ignored completely, like vimeo etc

Am comparing it to Google maps which is what I use

I generally drive so found it good to use. So far in testing, I wanted to go from home to another town. I had to physically search for the place rather than just select it in the map. That's a bit cumbersome but will continue testing it to see if there any shortcuts I haven't found

2. It had no issues opening any document or pdf produced in OpenOffice or Microsoft office. Will make it my default office program for the next few weeks and see how it goes. If I find anything else, I will let you all know

1. #euro-office I use #openoffice rather than #microsoft #office. I found Euro-Office easy to use & on par with not only OpenOffice but also Microsoft's. Only issue I have so far is that if you open an existing document or pdf, the option to rotate it from portrait to landscape is not available.

2. Every time I go to a location, it asks me to download the local map. I have disabled the option to download but it still asks me. I couldn't get rid of the pop up (see image). Overall has the potential for regular use but needs more improvements from my perspective.

1. #comaps Available for #Android and #IOS Available for #macOS and #Linux but #not Windows First impressions & testing on Android phone. Nice clean interface and easy to use. Nothing too different from Google maps. Annoyances include the lack of satellite view (see image for options Available)

Today won't be much online as will be testing #Euro-Office and #comaps, the latter suggested as an alternative to #Google and #apple maps by @denys.dev along with a couple of other #European made products

Still one of the most powerful monologues in cinema history. Ewan McGregor’s “Choose Life” speech in T2 Trainspotting (2017) hits just as hard today, perhaps even harder.

Un vrai score de dictateur ! Poutine est jaloux. Dans aucun parti politique ne règne une once de démocratie. Peut être un peu chez les sociaux démocrates de gauche avec leur primaire même s’il y a encore des choses à redire.

Having been saying that for years. Why we need to change times twice a year is pointless. Could understand when we were an agricultural society but we aren't now
