Right then. Here we go, hot off the press. Latest YouGov. And what does it show. Around 60% want the UK to have a better relationship but keep the redlines. Re join is 54%, but, strongly favour ... 36%. Which is the number I keep quoting. As soon as you explain euro etc, 36% is what you get.

The IMF disagrees with you. The UK is doing perfectly well and even outperforming its peers. We certainly didn't manage only 0.2% in 2025 like Germany & we beat France, Italy as well. As a G7 nation, we are doing just fine. As the EU's easiest source of growth, I expect you to make an offer.

As expected, UK was involved extensively behind the scenes. And Jonathan Powell was Tony Blair's fixer on Northern Ireland. So, for anybody decrying UK involvement in getting us to peace and the hostages home, just because Starmer doesn't shout does not mean he doesn't act. #PeaceSummit #Egypt

2. The patten of Spanish migration to the UK from 2000 - 2020, and it particular what happened in 2010 when the UK recovered from the financial crisis but the PIGS had not You're welcome. Oh and I added Italy in as well, cause they too are desperate for a YMS scheme.

Social media is not real-life example #132456. 66% support Starmer's approach & only 14% oppose. 55% would like to rejoin the EU, with 35% opposed. 62% oppose a further loosening of ties & 49% vs 27% say the current EU-UK relationship needs change. Labour has this right via @yougov.co.uk

Happy St George's Day. Modern England is a diverse tapestry of people, culture and beliefs. We love tea, curry, complaining, queueing and many of us enjoy a good pint, though not all. What we all agree on, is we love our England teams, both the the 3 Lions and the Lionesses.

I very much read that as 'Good headline for Paris while Brussels and London quietly nod along and plan for May' The white paper literally says this so yeah.

But it's the UK that has a problem with free speech right JD Vance, you couch fiend. Rather than being a prowler in DFS - proud of that joke - maybe have a word with the Clown as we all know 'illegal' is code for 'muh feelings'.

Look at this. The sheer level of entitlement from the EU towards what they expect from access to the UK is absolutely staggering. Its like the Daily Mail calling Brits in Dubai 'expats' as opposed to what they are: immigrants.

The EU wibble accounts on here have convinced themselves the UK is suddenly going to break ranks with Europe and side with the USA against Ukraine. That would be political suicide for any UK government. Again, these idiots don't actually understand the UK despite their weird post-Brexit obsession

Oh look, the phrase you hear from young right-wing politicos across the EU that means 'white people only' and is one of the reasons why, despite the economic impact, I think Brexit was culturally correct for a post-European country like the UK. Literally, nothing turns me against the EU like it.

Via IpSos. What do Britons who think Brexit has gone badly want to improve? Trade, tackling illegal immigration. Making it easier for Brits to work in the EU isn't top 10. What do EU citizens see as the big issue? Trade, they can't move to the UK & loss of UK contributions to EU budget. Says it all

Except this is what they ran on. These are the red lines. They will not be crossed in this Parliament. And the public doesn't support rejoining; it regrets Brexit. But what the UK had pre-2016 doesn't exist, isn't on offer, and a 'save the pound' campaign would win hands down, wouldn't it.

Good afternoon My new book pile, the Siege of Terra series from #warhammer40K has arrived (Warhawk book VI is arriving next week). Once I'm done with this lot, it'll be End and the Death Volumes II & III just in time for the end of the Dawn of Fire series. Read. Pay authors. #BlackLibrary

Its an interesting point that *very* slowly is starting to perculate in EU culteral consciouesness. This is from Le Monde on a documentary called 'From Brexit to Bregret'. They wonder why, despite it all, the UK isn't banging on the door of the EU. www.lemonde.fr/culture/arti...
