Camping in my van for the Bathurst 12 hour this weekend and writing my journal before I go to sleep. I really like the aesthetic of the esky that I am using for my ‘desk’ and the iPad I have wedged above as a light.

This is a photo of the interior of a van in a low light setting. At the top of the picture there is an iPad wedged into the roof of the van that is emitting light onto an open journal that is being written. The journal is on top of an esky which is being used for a table replacement and it has a blue coloured pen on the open right page. Towards the top left of the image light is being cast onto the back of the grey drivers seat of the van. To the right you can see the white interior of the sliding side door.

A bit behind schedule with one failure but week two is complete. It’s only going to get harder from here I felt like I could do more at the end of this session.

Keeping myself accountable. I restarted going to the gym this past week. After failing Day 1 of my 5k program I finished the week. With week 1 complete I can aim to run 5k before the end of the year. #c25k

In the centre on the left there is a text box with ‘Running Time 8:00’, in the centre on the right there is a box that says ‘Total Time 28:30’. At the bottom in the centre there is a green confirmation box with bold writing saying ‘I DID IT!’

This past weekend I had the good fortune to see Iron Maiden for the 3rd time. Whilst they were definitely a little bit slower than in 2011, I can only hope to have the energy that these 6 men in their late 60’s have. #ironmaiden

Seiko Metronome Watch (SMW006A) is the newest piece in my collection and just arrived this week. It’s a fairly understated design but I look forward to using it for practise and with my students. This is the 9th Seiko in my collection so what should I get for my 10th? #seiko #watch #smw006a

Last weekend was my 3rd attempt at participating in a 24h race this year in ACC and it was also the 3rd time that the host had to abandon the race due to bugs or server issues. We managed to at least make it 19 hours this time so I guess that’s close? #assettocorsa #assettocorsacompetizione #acc

I looking through my photos to find one of the cat I was taking care of recently and came across this absolute monster soft serve I received earlier in the year. That is a Large drink for reference.

A soft serve ice cream from Hungry Jacks that is the size of a large sized drink. There is so much ice cream that is already staring to melt down the cone and into fingers of the holder.
