Rewatching Nana and honestly the fact these two never hooked up both in the anime or in the manga is wild. But I'm a firm believer of the repressed yuri theory now, these two talk about each other so gayly.

Eye appointments, XRay for my throat, returning to the dentist for check one of the teeth they were watching. 🫠 Being poor really does mean paying way more later on.

Needing to schedule tons of medical stuff tonight and worrying about how sometimes you just do this stuff and it doesn’t work and you have to do it again and even then you spend money both ways.

Watching Terminator 2 and I forgot that the apocalyptic future in that movie occurred in 2029. The 90s really knew the world would collapse some 30 to 40 years later.

Street Brawl was where I was experiencing it. I only did one of the other mode, but given how long that was I wanted something shorter so I could try out more characters.

I've played 4 games of deadlock and I feel like this needs a mode for people who are trying to learn the game. Every match has just been one person steamrolling everyone else. I want to get into it, but I can't find a way to learn it when I can't play the game meaningfully.

I caved and called the maintenance to come out and fix it. Hank Hill is looking down on me.

JamesWorks100 @jamespetsdogs.bsky.social · 06/10/2026

Gonna let it sit for a bit, but really worried if I did the whole thing right or if it's fucked. Hopefully I don't notice anything, but otherwise I'll just call the work order people to come fix it and see. I hate this so much. 🙃

The past three days have been spent doing maintenance on my apartment becuase I don't know what I am responsible for fixing and what I can file work orders for, so hopefully I caulked my tub correctly otherwise I am going to hate life.

I wrote about puzzles and ideas that I dropped from the Tower of Zeldaga during development, and also about the hardest puzzles in the game. NOTE: This blog post contains spoilers for certain puzzles in the Tower of Zeldaga. osmose.ceo/blog/zeldaga...

The Tower of Zeldaga is a mashup of the Legend of Zelda and Tower of Druaga. Every room has a secret puzzle and the puzzles get more obtuse as you go on. It's free, runs in your browser (incl mobile), supports controllers, and I'd really love for you to try it out! legitimatebusiness.biz/tower/

The remake of OoT is giving the vibes of that shitpost "Focus M" videos that were going around for a while. It looks gross and I'm going to be really disappointed if Nintendo is trading their years of creating timeless artstyles for hyper-realism.

My American dental insurance was unable to provide any in network doctors despite having paid it for 10 years. Never got to use it once, but had to have it for my standard insurance plan. In CA it took less than a week to find a doctor, get an appointment, and get it paid for.

Used my Canadian health insurance for the first time properly yesterday. It really is impressive how much better this is. The claim was filed automatically by my doctor, took one day for it to be paid back by my insurance. Covered almost the whole thing. Really shocking how bad America is for health

Made it to Platinum and it is nothing but Albaz. This game was more fun before that existed in Master Duel.

I want to play the furry deck, but it gives popups every time something happens on the board that you run out of timeeeeeee

000

JamesWorks100 @jamespetsdogs.bsky.social · 03/08/2026

The biggest problem I'm having in Master Duel right now is that my deck has so many combo interactions on my opponents turn that I keep losing to time out even when I'm winning and this is tilting me in the most unfair way.

100

JamesWorks100 @jamespetsdogs.bsky.social · 02/08/2026

I'm just in Silver, why are so many people playing Albaz?? It's like in low ladder pokemon showdown when you play people running Wolfy teams.

100

JamesWorks100 @jamespetsdogs.bsky.social · 02/08/2026

In more YuGiOh experience I have never played against Albaz as much as I have today and my moderate opinion is that it needs to all be banned since it is the complete antithesis of the game.

100

JamesWorks100 @jamespetsdogs.bsky.social · 02/08/2026

The way in which a single card from my deck keeps ending up in my starting hand in master duel feels like this game has coded a way to make bad shuffling your deck a part of the game.

It's wild how some things can just feel so satisfactory. Like, damn flossing your teeth feels so good. And you can just do that and experience that feeling all the time. Amazing.
