The answer to Q.1 in today's FT quiz (which the running group I'm in does on Saturday ams) was Ho Chin Minh, who in 1913 worked as a pastry chef on the Newhaven - Dieppe ferry & in the Drayton Court Hotel, West Ealing This gave me an excuse to recite my poem, Comedy Night at the Drayton Court Hotel.
