🇬🇧🇪🇺 Brexit’s barriers are costing British businesses, farmers and artists. Touring sectors lost £208m and 2,490 jobs, while 59% of UK musicians say touring Europe is no longer viable. We must repair our relationship with the EU and remove unnecessary barriers.

📣 Good to be back in the Chamber today as parliament returned from summer recess. I was pleased to ask the third formal question of the new term. ❓I asked about the expansion of Israeli settlements in the West Bank and whether a trade ban on goods from illegal settlements is now necessary.

🗑️ Fly-tipping is a blight on our communities. In Rushcliffe, there were 1,086 incidents last year. New Government proposals could give councils powers to make fly-tippers clean up their own mess and pay the cost of clearing it. 📣 Have your say by 16 October.

🌍 Keeping homes comfortable shouldn't cost the planet. I'm backing calls to expand the Boiler Upgrade Scheme to include air to air heat pumps, providing low carbon heating in winter, cooling in summer, lower energy bills and more climate ready homes for the future.

♿️ Too many disabled people are being failed by the system. Yesterday, I highlighted a constituent's PIP case: despite no change in his condition, he scored zero points and waited two years for justice until my team won at tribunal. I urged the minister to ensure these dehumanising failures end.
