I’m excited to put all of this together

Marit and her team are creative and hard working. Let’s get this passed

Everyday I read another unfathomable action in the American progression towards facism.

Great idea. I also donated to @catmckenney.bsky.social because I think they will make an incredible MPP.

Apparently there are preliminary conversations about Canada joining the European Union. Fascinating to consider

Well, no tariffs at all. But Teslas really need a tariff

Canada is putting a 100% tariff on Teslas!

Similar situation in some Carleton washrooms!

Slow days are part of the creative process. If you plug away when it’s not flowing, you’re setting the stage for a more productive session when it is.

A snowy day for a skate but the Rideau Canal Skateway is a gem in Ottawa. (3/3… third skate in three days)

You just have to like alternate protein sources. Beans are a major staple

My four kids went vegetarian during the pandemic so I learned how to cook without meat. Three have re-introduced some meats but I’m having a hard time remembering to cook with it again because vegetarian cooking became a habit!

Composing will continue once I get through an intense admin/teaching work period. But I am excited about my projects. Writing a novel is a novel idea! I hope it’s bringing you joy even if there aren’t enough hours in the day!

With snow cover everywhere, brightening, it almost mitigates the how early it gets dark outside

Bring back the social aspect! BlueSky seems to have potential. FB is a disaster... BUT there are a thousand people in my friend list from different phases of my life, which is fascinating. So I'll keep it, but strive to use it less.

I'm much more of a write-to-score person, but this time I'm composing directly to DAW using new content mixed with stems from a previously recorded project of mine. Doing this to generate a working recorded document quickly because I'm working with a choreographer. Then write the score after.

My goal is to use Bluesky as a way to 1) keep in touch with people I know (eventually more people will migrate here), and 2) maintain a positive experience. Let's see if negativity can be minimized on this platform.

Had a productive morning session of composing using a different approach for me than usual. Thanks Rob thehipcola.bsky.social for your help with the tech side of things!
