The key question is : are Reform UK voters who aren't posh going to care? All these scandals do is help Reform and Tory geographically split Britain amongst themselves, and then do the Spanish right wing alliance.

Yes to all of the above, but Covid destroyed the routine and rythm and accountability to others in a purely physical sense of having to go from x to y, that a lot of AD(H)D people crave.

First litmus test : does Kemi still think the Fulani are her ethnic enemy? Can someone be Fulani-English in her book?

Worse Stephen, she gaslights people saying she wasn't an ardent supporter of it. I say gaslight, but her perception of reality and what she said changes very quickly too

The point is that we spend huge money on stuff that isnt useful at all (at all) vs what Ukraine arebshowing an actual MoD should do in terms of procurement.

Some people in the care sector surely resent people who come into the UK on a care sector visa only to not work in the care sector? Because it is a non-negligible issue that Labour is trying to address

I can. I'm generally pro immigration but I can understand how people link directly e.g. unaffordable rent, high streets being taking over by criminals (of all nationalities including Brits) and so on to immigration. The point is the Left must sell the idea that they can tackle those issues too.

I think its more complicated though, in that Farage was necessary as a figure to catapult Reform UK as a right wing populist alternative to the Tories and capture Brexit ex-Labour voters, but now they're an established presence theyre still likely to replace Cons as main party on Right.

It all comes down to housing. You would not have this backlash against family reunification and the Boriswave in general if housing and public services in other domains than care could keep up

Lower house prices are never presented as good news. Eat up your Homes Under the Hammer or Grand Designs propaganda, because housing must be seen as a risk free investment in the eyes of the Boomers (and Gen X).

In Valencia the PP head of the region tried to avoid an emergency flood response by having an eigh hour lunch. Its part of the PP's culture of disdain for plebs.

Congrats on not understanding how that happened...it wasnt because of Blatter. Whereas Saudi WC is Infantino, Morocco rigging AFCON is Infantino, Peace Prize is Infantino....

No, not marginally. At least as a custodian of FIFA, never did Blatter reach these heights. Horrible guy, maybe more crass than Gianni who is smooth. But never was he this corrupt. Qatar WC was fixed by bribing FAs.

Blatter was much, much better than Infantino. Your analogy should be modified to reflect this.

Way too big a loss of revenue. The South American teams would basically ask UEFA to set up a tournament between them and the European teams

Thanks, its endemic in Brussels sadly. But David Miliband not paying interns in *New York City* while he was on a 6 figure salary for an NGO is proof of his elitism

A soundbite coined by Samantha Power, who like David Miliband is notorious for treating interns like shit. If he ascends in a Burnham gov that would set the tone IMO. Careerists.

The difference is Burnham might lose control of the PLP, not as much as Starmer did but enough to make him think he needs a way to cement that he is the reason for electoral success.

Slim majorities were hardly governable either (Cameron 2015). The reality is the 2 main parties are anachronistic and hold various parties/factions within them that cannot work together well anymore.

Throwback to when a TV station in Iceland accidentally aired an episode of Teletubbies with subtitles from the Sopranos 👌🏼
Picture of a TV screen with teletubbies going to bed with the subtitles: I know you were high during my mother-in-laws wake
