Nine Surrey players now ECB contracted. No wonder they have to have such a big squad.

James Bisset @jamesbisset87.bsky.social · 12/10/2026

Trust City to be playing Liverpool when they were missing four key players who normally start for them. Sky Sports seemed to miss that out from the usual City loving that they wrote.

When I joined Bluesky, it was great just Arsenal fans posting and sharing Arsenal content. Now I am seeing so many posts about politics, religious views or other stuff I didn’t join to see. Think a few accounts need to be unfollowed or blocked.

Some of the team selections this season have been strange. Why was Clark included in squads the last two rounds and not picked. Why sign Lomror and not get Kishore back? Why’s Sykes not had a run of games?

James Bisset @jamesbisset87.bsky.social · 18/09/2026

He’s not going to leave Surrey, he’s spent his whole career there. I don’t think he’s ready to retire yet either.

James Bisset @jamesbisset87.bsky.social · 18/09/2026

I didn’t understand signing Lomror and Nabi. There were players in-house that could have had the same impact at least. Is it time for Burns to pass the baton to someone else? Pope maybe as he has fallen out of England’s first XI.

What about a last minute big money move for Kroupi from Bournemouth. Not sure how it works with signing someone who’s injured regarding their medical. If it’s possible, do it!

A late move for Lautaro Martinez from Inter would be the one. Although, just turned 29 and has 3 years left on his contract so would be mega money.

Tzolis will end up being sent off here I can feel it. Bruno and Eze on for me

Where have the rumours come from? Any truth in it do you think?

The dismissal of Gay is another example of why Lords should not have two test matches each summer. Another shocker of a wicket.

Terrible decision to send Pope in with under 10 overs left in the day.

I would rather Endrick than others that have been mentioned. That being said, I haven’t seen a lot of him but he did do well when on loan at Lyon last season.

TalkSPORT reporting that Arsenal have held talks with Real Madrid over the signing of Endrick.

Surely if Fisher and Pope don’t play for England they will join up and play for Surrey. 🤞

Unless there is anyone top class available, do we need to replace Martinelli now? Tzolis is performing well plus there is rotation for him with Eze and Noni. Could we wait until January and save wasting money now.

I think Marmoush has the potential to be a very decent player, shame he might be joining the spuds.

James Bisset @jamesbisset87.bsky.social · 17/08/2026

Neto valued at £100m. The valuations placed on some of these players is a joke. Arsenal need to follow the trend because we seem to give our players away for peanuts.

James Bisset @jamesbisset87.bsky.social · 16/08/2026

The talk of selling MLS and Zubi has been created by the media and now jumped on by everyone. The amount of games we play, injuries we have rotation is key. In my opinion, I would keep both.

Nwaneri leaving the club is a real shame, it has to either be a season loan or a sale with a buy back clause for a preset fee.

James Bisset @jamesbisset87.bsky.social · 14/08/2026

Think they said Setford would go out on loan for experience as well. Shame he can’t stay and they sell Kepa.

Jesus, Nelson, Vieira there’s three for you.

Stupid keyboard. I meant Tzolis

100 1

James Bisset @jamesbisset87.bsky.social · 13/08/2026

If Martinelli is sold and they can’t get anyone else now. Do you think they will go with the current squad with Nwaneri and Madeuke offering left sided cover/depth behind Tsolis.

100 1

James Bisset @jamesbisset87.bsky.social · 12/08/2026

Imagine being a journalist and posting a story where you don’t actually know the source so the story could well be untrue. It’s the same with most stories about people, all made up and posted for clicks and to drive sales.

020 2

James Bisset @jamesbisset87.bsky.social · 11/08/2026

Keep Martinelli if that is the only option.

010 1

James Bisset @jamesbisset87.bsky.social · 11/08/2026

Why would we offer a 19yr old that is an England international and highly rated to two of our rivals. It makes no sense. So many of these stories are so frustrating to read/hear about because hardly any of them make any sense or carry any credibility. Mostly lazy clickbait content.

James Bisset @jamesbisset87.bsky.social · 10/08/2026

40 million euros, wow they really rate him don’t they. Based off all other recent transfers alone he’s worth at least £80m. Look at how much it would cost us to replace him…

James Bisset @jamesbisset87.bsky.social · 10/08/2026

If the money is going to be spent use the Vini money and go and sign Kvara. PSG will sell if the money is right. We shouldn’t waste money on players like Neto that aren’t better than what we already have. I would rather save it and buy Kroupi in January if we can’t get anyone that is an upgrade now

020 2

James Bisset @jamesbisset87.bsky.social · 06/08/2026

Either go all in on Kvara or sign Barcola.

010 1

James Bisset @jamesbisset87.bsky.social · 06/08/2026

Select Robinson for Carse/Tongue then that looks about right based on the squad.

000 0

James Bisset @jamesbisset87.bsky.social · 06/08/2026

Based on recent transfers Gordon, Rogers etc a realistic offer for Martinelli would have to be c.£75m. Personally I would rather sell Jesus and keep Martinelli. Only sell both if a new attacker comes in.

010 1

James Bisset @jamesbisset87.bsky.social · 30/07/2026

Is it me or does it seem like our transfer links rumble on and take a while whereas other clubs seem to go from rumour to confirmed transfer quickly. Probably Just me being impatient.

Fair play to Chris Philp actually posting the footage that people have called out for months and know has been going on. French authorities don’t care, BF don’t care and the UK does nothing. Only way to stop it happening is with the Navy and Army stopping the boats but that won’t happen.

020 2

James Bisset @jamesbisset87.bsky.social · 22/07/2026

Is there any truth to Tim Sherwood saying that he had heard on good authority that Mbappe is coming to the Premier league this season. What a player that would be to have as our left sided attacker….

210 2

James Bisset @jamesbisset87.bsky.social · 19/07/2026

I’m glad we haven’t signed Rogers, he clearly didn’t want to come. Also, someone I wasn’t fully sold on considering the other players we have in those positions. Hopefully we will now use a chunk of that money to sign Barcola or Kroupi.

Awful subs from a some what commanding position

James Bisset @jamesbisset87.bsky.social · 15/07/2026

If England do lose this, Tuchel needs to be sacked for shocking in game management this second half. You cannot sit back from 70minutes against their attacking firepower.
