I saw Tait coach some sessions in the Academy and do some presentations. I’m also a youth coach and I did not come away impressed. I always wondered how he managed to be so high up at Everton.

Wow a Barry finish from Cherif there 🤣🙈

AMN returning to the mean! I saw a Lyon fan say he is a good player but he makes too many costly errors.

I swear most of us will be 6 feet under and Modric will still be playing for Croatia

100

Jamesandcheese @jamesandcheese.bsky.social · 26/09/2026

But it will only motivate Pickford which is good for us

000

Jamesandcheese @jamesandcheese.bsky.social · 26/09/2026

Listened to TalkSPORT for 2 hours now (yes I feel more stupid) not one mention of Pickford/Trafford. Got it wrong today dropping England’s #1.

True but I think you have more faith than me!!

Jamesandcheese @jamesandcheese.bsky.social · 17/09/2026

It amazes me that teams like Bournemouth and Palace go into Europe and just smash teams. I know full well if Everton ever get there again we will be utter pish (Remember Atalanta!?)

I think there is a debate to be had about whether KDH is an 8 or a 10. In Moyes’ formation his role as a 10 quickly becomes an 8. He might be better getting on the ball more and driving forward from deep. It means a Hackney/Armstrong/Norgaard miss out but opens up a spot for Alcaraz potentially.

Newcastle at home in the next round - we’ll take it

010

Jamesandcheese @jamesandcheese.bsky.social · 16/09/2026

Looks it at the moment. I always liked him at Arsenal but figured he had dropped off since but looks decent to me so far!

Jamesandcheese @jamesandcheese.bsky.social · 16/09/2026

I did not have a Joao Virginia sighting on my bingo card today!

Jamesandcheese @jamesandcheese.bsky.social · 15/09/2026

DCL was a top player when you consider modern strikers. Can run channels, can hold it up, good in the air, good touch and can play with his feet. Yes injury issues (not his fault) ultimately let down by our fanbase. One of our first decent social media gen strikers and that was hard for us to take.

Jamesandcheese @jamesandcheese.bsky.social · 15/09/2026

I know it was time to move on but our fanbase really piled on this lad too much. Without doubt better than Barry!!

230

Jamesandcheese @jamesandcheese.bsky.social · 14/09/2026

This DCL lad at Leeds looks like a decent prospect!

Jamesandcheese @jamesandcheese.bsky.social · 14/09/2026

The Newcastle coach needs tighter shirt

000

Jamesandcheese @jamesandcheese.bsky.social · 14/09/2026

Armstrong I think. O’Brien scored. Villa?

110

Jamesandcheese @jamesandcheese.bsky.social · 14/09/2026

We had a game where I was fuming that Tarkowski had been distracted by an offside player but the goal was given…..can’t remember which one tho!

Jamesandcheese @jamesandcheese.bsky.social · 12/09/2026

Rumours are he is our third highest paid player!

100

Jamesandcheese @jamesandcheese.bsky.social · 12/09/2026

I’ll never get over that - god we were shocking that day

000

Jamesandcheese @jamesandcheese.bsky.social · 12/09/2026

Normal service resumed at Spurs. They look like world beaters and we are getting absolutely battered!! 🙈🤦‍♂️

Jamesandcheese @jamesandcheese.bsky.social · 12/09/2026

I guess Save of the Month only started in the 2022/23 season and the Chelsea save was the end of the 2021/22 season

000

Jamesandcheese @jamesandcheese.bsky.social · 11/09/2026

As the dust has somewhat settled I think we dodged a bullet on Balogun. He’s not that good and 40m was ridiculous especially with injury concerns. Doesn’t excuse us selling Beto tho.

010

Jamesandcheese @jamesandcheese.bsky.social · 11/09/2026

Big man Beto starting up top for Fiorentina tonight, they love an ex Toffee up front!

001

Jamesandcheese @jamesandcheese.bsky.social · 08/09/2026

Just seen a link to Mauro Icardi - sign him up!

001

Jamesandcheese @jamesandcheese.bsky.social · 06/09/2026

Had to raise a wry smile as Hackney drove forward attempted a 1-2 with Barry but it rolled under the foot of the big lump hit Martinez and pinged back to Hackney before assisting George 🤣

020

Jamesandcheese @jamesandcheese.bsky.social · 06/09/2026

10 English players played for us today. Seems quite unusual in the modern PL

030

Jamesandcheese @jamesandcheese.bsky.social · 06/09/2026

Favorable stats for the never say die Toffees 💙

030

Jamesandcheese @jamesandcheese.bsky.social · 05/09/2026

I’ve always rated Chilwell would have been a good signing for us!

250

Jamesandcheese @jamesandcheese.bsky.social · 05/09/2026

Patterson faced up against Beto today (both came on as subs). Craig’s team came out on top 2-1 to Torino 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

020

Jamesandcheese @jamesandcheese.bsky.social · 03/09/2026

The main issue with signing Anthony Martial is that he only scores against us

120

Jamesandcheese @jamesandcheese.bsky.social · 02/09/2026

He said I’m still going to watch, I said that’s fine, but if there is still a thought in your mind to change then change. He said there isn’t - he’s a blue. But I need a break.

020

Jamesandcheese @jamesandcheese.bsky.social · 02/09/2026

I called my son over and I said I need to talk to you - he rolled his eyes thinking it was something about his behavior etc. I said son I need a break from this. I’ve done it for 40 years and I’m broken. I’ve been broken before too many times to remember (FA Cup semi v Liverpool springs to mind)..

Jamesandcheese @jamesandcheese.bsky.social · 02/09/2026

Oh and also Tete was based on another Fulham signing so that wasn’t happening……and as for Richarlison that was pie in the sky #evertonthat

000

Jamesandcheese @jamesandcheese.bsky.social · 02/09/2026

I told my lads yesterday that there was no way Balogun would be done by the deadline and we would need a deal sheet…..

100

Jamesandcheese @jamesandcheese.bsky.social · 02/09/2026

My 12 year old said ‘how do you let a player leave before the other player is confirmed!?’ I had no answer other than this is Everton

140

Jamesandcheese @jamesandcheese.bsky.social · 02/09/2026

I see it now - we are a fucking shit show. In Moyes we trust

110

Jamesandcheese @jamesandcheese.bsky.social · 02/09/2026

I usually don’t go too crazy during transfer windows, we have been through so much and seen it all. However we thought this was a new era. I think now we can see what Moyes was getting at this summer. Again I will finish with the same statement. Why do I bother? FYI Moyes is not the problem lads….

230

Jamesandcheese @jamesandcheese.bsky.social · 02/09/2026

Fair play to Balogun - he could smell the bullshit a mile off. Different owners, same shit, I why do I bother?
