Glad you had such a good experience! It's nice to be able to share... But it's definitely got to be a balance between living and recording. Sounds like you had a great time 😊

The rain is coming again... Flood warnings for Leeds 😭 I know we need to fill up the reservoirs but... This is a bit much 😕

He's looking at degree level now. There are quite a few for GCSE school leavers at college levels. But it's difficult... The govt have been pushing apprenticeships, so you'd have thought there would be opportunities 😕 but these are uncertain times... Think he wants to get stuck in to work! Crazy 🤣

010

Jam 🍒 @jambeanie.bsky.social · 19/07/2025

It's the way he wants to go. But he is finding it hard to find a next level apprenticeship - even in Leeds! And I was wondering what people thought. But yes on the job sounds best. He will definitely be an asset to any company - he's such a great guy (I'm biased but he's a lovely lad ☺️) thank you!

🛑 help from people in MARKETING! 🙌 ❓Is it best to study and get a degree in Marketing? ❓Or learn on job after A-level? In an apprenticeship/internship position? My son wants to get into a career in digital marketing and we're trying to work things out. Advice would be really appreciated! #Leeds

I had such a great time at Creative Thursday @harrogatefestivals.bsky.social yesterday. Learnt lots, met lots of lovely writers & authors, was invited to join a writing group, and got some great advice! I didn't get to pitch, but I was ready to - which felt good! I wrote so many notes! Joyful day 🙌

I did not like the interpretation of the Wasted Youth intro 🙄 it's such a dramatic intro, and she murdered it. But other than that the songs were fab. Oh and way too many backs to the audiences and upstaging 🙄 but other than THAT - I really enjoyed it, and found it hard not to mouth the words! 🦇

Bat out of Hell the Musical! Last night! The story was ridiculous 🤣 But the dancing, singing, music... Wow!!! Incredible!! The mum - just fabulous! She played a great part, amazing voice. And the musicians... The pianist and guitarist were so good! I often watched them rather than the characters 🤣

Yeah I thought that too... My son also has a pad to draw on which transfers to his computer. So might trace it and then see what happens with that 🤣 Technology... 🤦🏻‍♀️

Jam 🍒 @jambeanie.bsky.social · 21/04/2025

I don't have any apple products. I guess you can only scan onto a computer if the computer has the ability. My laptop definitely does not have that technology. I can send a photo on email but I think there's a better way... Not sure what though!

Jam 🍒 @jambeanie.bsky.social · 21/04/2025

I've drawn a poster, but I want to put it onto the computer so I can create it on there and add colour, manipulate elements etc Do I have to scan it? Can I scan it on a photo copyier and email it to myself, then upload to Photoshop or Illustrator? Appreciate any advice, Dinosaur Jam
