In Game 1 of their semifinals series, the Valkyries beat the Aces 71-60 in Ballhalla, taking a 1-0 series lead. Some of my thoughts/impressions from watching the game: •An incredible 1st half for Gabby Williams, where she scored 18 of her 25 points. •Valkyries: 7-24 from 3.

Surviving and advancing to the semifinals! Another wild game to end the series! In Ballhalla, the Valkyries come back from being down 16 in the 2nd half to ultimately beat the Wings 77-73 in Game 3, taking the series 2-1. Some of my thoughts/impressions from watching the game:

A wild game in Arlington! In overtime, the Valkyries fall to the Wings 108-100 in Game 2, as the series is now tied 1-1. Some of my thoughts/impressions from watching the game: •Arike Ogunbowale. Amazing! 45 points: the most points in a playoff game in league history. She refused to lose this game.

With the Lynx getting eliminated tonight: The Valkyries will now have home-court advantage throughout the rest of their playoff run; this includes the Finals, if they make it there. Their amazing comeback win last week in Los Angeles just became even larger. It's only Year 2 of their existence!

What an ending in Los Angeles! The Valkyries defeat the Sparks 76-75 and finish the regular season with a 32-12 record. The Valkyries are the #2 seed in the playoffs, and will begin postseason action at home against the Wings, the #7 seed. Some of my thoughts/impressions from watching the game:

An overtime thriller in Portland! The Valkyries end up on the losing side, as they lose 90-82 to the Fire and fall to 31-12 this season. Some of my thoughts/impressions from watching the game: •Valkyries: 8-31 from 3. The Fire? 10-36 from 3. The Fire got more attempts up, and it paid off for them.

On the second night of a back-to-back, and in their final regular-season home game, the Valkyries move to 31-11 after defeating the Storm 70-57. Some of my thoughts/impressions from watching the game: •It was a fun 1st half for the Valkyries. And then, it was not a fun 2nd half for the Valkyries.

The Valkyries defeat the Fire 86-69 in Portland, moving to 29-11 on the season. Some of my thoughts/impressions from watching the game: •Overall, apart from a bit of a defensive struggle in the 3rd quarter, I thought it was a strong game from the Valkyries. •Valkyries: 9-29 from 3.

In what was the final meeting in Uncasville, the Valkyries move to 27-11 this season after beating the Sun 89-64. Some of my thoughts/impressions from watching the game: •From start to finish: a strong two-way performance from the Valkyries. •Valkyries: 10-25 from 3. •10 blocks for the Valkyries!!

In Minneapolis, the Valkyries defeat the Lynx 80-66 and elevate to a 26-11 record this year. Some of my thoughts/impressions from watching the game: •Finally, the Valkyries get that elusive win over the Lynx. Finally, a really good performance by Cecilia Zandalasini against the Lynx comes in a win.

At home, the Valkyries suffer a 77-66 defeat to the Lynx, falling to a 25-10 record this season. Some of my thoughts/impressions from watching the game: •In the first ~25 minutes of the game, the Lynx showed they are THE top team in the league right now. It was just miserable for the Valkyries.

In Los Angeles, the Valkyries get an 84-78 victory over the Sparks and move to 23-9 on the season. Some of my thoughts/impressions from watching the game: •The Valkyries found a way to survive a 4th-quarter rally by the Sparks. But, oh my! The Valkyries just fell apart in that final quarter.

Two games against the Tempo in Ballhalla, two wins for the Valkyries! Tonight, the Valkyries beat the Tempo 92-81 at home, moving to 21-9 on the season. Some of my thoughts/impressions from watching the game: •This was the only WNBA game held today, and I thought it delivered. A really fun game!

In Phoenix, the Valkyries fall to the Mercury 91-89, dropping to 19-9 on the season. Some of my thoughts/impressions from watching the game: •43 free-throw attempts for the Mercury (Valkyries had 19). Ultimately, what mainly hurt the Valkyries was the plethora of fouls and free-throws they allowed.

At home, the Valkyries go to 19-8 on the season, as their winning streak ends after falling 90-82 to the Mystics. Some of my thoughts/impressions from watching the game: •The final few minutes were a massive disaster for the Valkyries. Aided by a 13-0 run, the Mystics snatch away an impressive win.

17-7 is now the Valkyries' record after a 79-64 road win against the Sun. Some of my thoughts/impressions from watching the game: •The opening half saw both teams struggle offensively, but the Valkyries started to pull away in the 2nd half and ultimately ran away with the game in the 4th quarter.
