maybe i can only be motivated to draw when it's a shitpost... here's Mak being fun and silly and so full of joy and whimsy

A digital drawing of the purple robotic cat girl named Mak. Mak is a humanoid purple robot with floating pointy cat ears and a long, thick tail. Mak is standing up straight, looking towards the viewer and holding a big lollipop in an outstretched arm. The lollipop is spiraled with pink and blue, and has lines extending out from it for emphasis. Mak is smiling wide, with a single buck-tooth sticking out from under the top lip. The edges of its mouth are stretching outside its face, and there is a light blush on its cheeks. Its eyes are wide, looking in different directions, and there are sparkles inside them. There is a hat with vertical colored stripes on it and a small propeller on top hanging off of Mak's ear. There is a single small curly wire protruding from the top of Mak's head.

Mak got a glow up 😻 thank you to my friend linsangle for this art and help with the character design (they're not on bsky but check out their work here: ko-fi.com/linsangle)

A digital drawing of a purple robotic humanoid cat character named Mak. it has solid white eyes, floating pointy ears with yellow in the middle, and a long segmented tail with a yellow stripe on the end. The character is drawn full body and full color on the left and there are two smaller uncolored sketches on the right. One shows Mak holding up the artist's character, Kitt, a lynx girl, by the shirt and smiling at her while Kitt looks confused and worried. There is a speech bubble above Mak containing an image of a heart shaped locket containing an image of Kitt and the text "kitt knickerbocker my beloved". The other sketch shows Mak smiling and waving towards the viewer, with a speech bubble saying "Hi! My name is Small Boobs! Look me up on Google!".

week two: Vintage i got busy so i'm doing two weeks' submissions at once :P

a black-on-white digital sketch of a creature called a "tainted drifter" from the game Vintage Story. the creature is a humanoid with bones made of metal rebar, and skin made of cloth. the cloth is ripped and tattered, and bits of bent rebar are protruding from underneath all over its body. gears can also be seen underneath the cloth. one arm is shorter than the other and has more bent rebar sticking out. the creature's head is like a hood with only darkness underneath. the reference, a screenshot of the creature's model from the game, is next to the sketch.

week one: Metal turns out all you need to be good at art is free brush pack from itch.io

a digital drawing of three steel-type Pokemon. on the left is Meltan, a Pokemon made up of a blob of liquid metal as its body, and a golden hex nut as its head. it has a small red electrical wire sticking out from behind that looks like a tail. in the center is Honedge, a Pokemon that looks like a sword in a brown sheath with intricate curving patterns across it. there are three circles at the top that appear to be eyes, the one in the center is bright blue, and the others are white. there is a long, dark blue ribbon attached to the pommel that hangs down beside it, and ends in a bright blue swirling pattern. on the right is Bronzor, a Pokemon that appears as a disc of dark blue metal with six orbs equally spaced around the perimeter of the disc. there is a smaller orb in the middle that appears like a nose, and sits right between its two yellow eyes.

a white-on-black drawing with a small planet, with a crashed spaceship on the left with smoke billowing out, a lake on the right, mountains in the distance. an astronaut stands in the center holding a flagpole in one hand and the other raised up to his helmet as he looks up at the night sky. the sky is full of stars, and has a small ringed planet with moons in the distance, a cratered moon with a spaceship flying around it, and a large gas giant with stripes and thin rings.

so wplace happened... and i guess i'm a pixel artist now. trying to think of some semi-niche things to rep on there, because i don't want to be the millionth person drawing deltarune art. my fave music artist (femtanyl) came to mind first :) tw: blood
