I have second hand tracker for "meshtastic" and someone just put a... Bobcat Miner 300 G295 ??? up for ~100 EUR. Apparently some stupid chain miner.. That has SX1302?? .. And Rockchip PX30 ARM processor?? I could throw a linux distro and #reticulum on this thing!!!

picture of Bobcat Minor 3000 G295. A semi evil looking block box with small antenna on the side and power.

View of almost finished painted containers, there are 4 people standing in front of it, doing the last bit of work - the subject features swan doing various bike related activities with a blue sky and small hills they are driving on.

Smashing things together and it somehow works. Next up is getting new 868Mhz antenna and trying to get an understanding of what noise floor -- and perhaps some #LoRa radio settings. Also it is a little warm when closed ~70C oopsie

My first (compressed) image attachment received from Nomadnet via RNode LoRa 📡 Took me ages to (hopefully) understand the different interface modes and how they should be setup. Getting ~2.5Kbps and seeing -100 dbm. No clue what others are getting?! #lora #rnode #reticulum #nomadnet

Slowly coming to conclusion that #RAK19713, the Mini PCIe #LoRa variant, is much better choice since they mention support for #Meshtastic and provide official guides on how to flash it […] [Original post on mastodon.gamedev.place]

I am just checking if am in wrong territory; I would like to get #RAK5166 / #RAK5167 which uses #SX1303 - but from my.. brief.. research is seems like neither the community-led #reticulum firmware, #meshtastic or #meshcore supports the SX1303 […] [Original post on mastodon.gamedev.place]
