Great vibes on the ground at the Copenhagen "Hands off Greenland" demonstration. Also a great day for flag nerds. Lots of people learning about the Kalmar flag today...

I took part in a video contest this winter, and our submission will go live at 18:00 UTC tomorrow. I had a lot of fun, and developed a few more skills. It's the first time I have dabbled in anything resembling machinima. #StarCitizen www.youtube.com/watch?v=at7D...

As a pretty satisfied MitID user, it's concerning how much this misrepresents the differences and concerns around the UK proposals. MitID is really *just* a login system: a better equivalent to the Government Gateway ID... 🧵/? www.theguardian.com/politics/202...

if you need an example of how the UK has fallen to enshittification, look at broadband pricing. Being offered £54 a month for 100 Mb service because we are moving abroad and can't stay for a 2 year contract. in Denmark, paying 199kr (£23) for 1000 Mb service, no minimum term contract.

Star Wars timeline continued... According to Wookiepedia, there's a smattering of Tales episodes following the Bad Batch. The Asajj Ventress arc probably better fits between Bad Batch s3 episodes 8&9. It does contain a bit of weirdness. Ventress was killed in a book called Dark Disciple, where...

The Star Wars chronological viewing saga has passed the Bad Batch Seasons 2 & 3. I enjoy this show, however when put in a chronological order, it addresses one problem but creates another. The Star Wars MO since the prequel era has been to release a poorly-received movie and then...

The chronological Star Wars watch saga has passed Bad Batch Season One... It's a good show. The first episode feels very "pilot episode"-ey in that there's some annoying character and tone issues that get resolved by episode 2. And ultimately, what's not to like about the A-Team surviving...

CAN you watch Revenge of the Sith intercut with the contemporaneous scenes from the Clone Wars, The Bad Batch, Tales of the Empire, and Tales of the Jedi, making a 4+ hour epic? Sure can! Should you? Ehhh probably not. The obvious lesson from watching Star Wars chronologically is that...

The chronological watch through of star wars has passed Clone Wars season 6 - an odd season that was made up of incomplete episodes left over from the Cartoon Network production, completed and released on Netflix. It's also George Lucas' last major contributions to the canon, which leaves a mark...

My chronological viewing of Star Wars has reached Clone Wars Season 5. This is probably the most important season. Essentially every significant idea or character that survived past the series comes from Season 5. The biggest is the idea of showing rebels as terrorists...

And the Star Wars chronological marathon advances to Clone Wars Season 4. The first half is a clear leap forward visually, and the writing within some of the stories is really great. The Pong Krell arc for example is really gripping. The overarching narrative feels like it has taken a step...

So the Star Wars timeline watch marathon has reached the second half of Clone Wars season 3, and boy do I have thoughts. A general issue with seasons 1 and 2 is that they are basically gap-filling. Without the show, we know (without being shown) that the Jedi and the Clone army get into a...

Continuing my marathon...The first half of Clone Wars season 3 gets off to a relatively weak start. The season is a fan favourite, but I think mostly for the latter half. Following the timeline, there were also five episodes of Forces of Destiny that slotted in here, mostly because they cover...

So I consulted the Wookiepedia list of canon material and realised that I had missed two shorts. One is a Tales of the Jedi (Practice Makes Perfect), which jumps through time a bit and has a lot of anachronisms anyway. It's a good poignant episode, though in a chronological watching the...

Continuing my timeline viewing of Star Wars with Cthe first half of Clone Wars season 2 - 21BBY There's a marked jump up in quality. Lore tidbits - The Talons the Polaris fights in the trailer are probably a reference to Cmdr. Hester Polaris, who the ship is named after, and who fell during the Second Tevarin War - and the Captain in the trailer growing grey hair is probably a reference to Star Citizen's development time.

I've been working on a map of the verse based on Jump Distance from Star Citizen 1.0 systems. I originally did a cloverleaf design but it didn't look nice, so I took it back to basics today, and it's nearly there.
