PHANTA in this case, is a Dark World form of a console Kris and Asriel used to play on. However, eventually, the console was left under Asriel's bed after Toriel found that the games they were playing were a bit "too violent".

PHANTA doesn't really hold a grudge against Kris, only really disliking Toriel (Thus she gets locked up in this AU instead of just held in ball.). They just play the role of villain because "every hero needs a villain", though they can still come across as very cruel for no reason, perhaps getting too into character (Perhaps influenced by the games played on them, which games don't usually have a option to spare enemies.). Really they just want Kris to have some REAL fun.
