I'm so annoyed that Smart Glasses are now a pervert thing, I've always loved the concept. But only because I just want an IRL game UI. Show me my HP, Stamina, Currency, Active Quests, and an Enemy Radar

Just got myself one of the digimon tamagotchis, and let me tell you, it's more than enough fun without an LLM shoved into it. It's weird having a piece of tech that: Doesn't need charging. (eventual new battery tho) Isn't spying on you. Not connected to the internet. No ads. Just a lil guy.

Forcing the Overton Window back an inch by not using food ordering apps or those god damn QR codes. If I want yummy food, I'm using my legs to get to some sort of counter, and having a polite exchange with a nice person where I give them money, and I get food. No bullshit middlemen taking a cut.

I'ma stop complaining about the doomtrolling nonsense, unless something of equal or greater stupidity happens.... But what are the odds of that happening...

Media: "Anthropic CEO calls for slow down on AI development for Humanity's sake" Translation: "Fuck dude we are spending SO MUCH MONEY and if we slow down it'll pop the bubble... So we gotta slow down because of super evil robot that's totally why, honest!"

Don't get all hung up by that "insider leak", it's just more doomsday propaganda to make it not look like just a chatbot. The only times it "breaks out of containment" is when they told it to and gave it keys. And the benchmarks they keep beating are set by themselves..

Jakobos @jakobos.art · 11/09/2026

The media be like: "Oh no! The super duper AI might be able to kill us all... No don't look at the dipshit humans who are creating datacentres that fuck up the environment which will actually kill us all.."

Woops, I lied, it's actually only 17 years old. My bad, send me to the shadow realm or something, I made it while I was an infant

While I find it hilarious that there's a new company using the abandoned Twitter name to make another social media, it's super disappointing that they decided to use AI images for their founders badges.

After a long and arduous battle with my printer... I emerge victorious! It no longer prints weird stripes. Just in time for the Illustration Fair!

If only I had known before getting it in a feverous panic before work the other week. I may have to find a way to trade in my current copy because I was legit waiting to see if a Collector's edition existed, and I lost hope.

Jakobos @jakobos.art · 22/08/2026

Th-there's a COLLECTOR'S EDITION!?!

It's also crazy that you can just start playing anywhere, without even having to boot up the game! Just put the console to sleep, pick it back up, playing again in less than 20secs! Gone are the days where I was waiting 10mins to get into a single room on my ancient laptop in 2008 :')

Jakobos @jakobos.art · 16/08/2026

Woke up early and grabbed this bad boy in a panic before work, heard they were selling fast. I love that everything is on the cartridge, I was able to boot it up and play on the bus to work without any internet.

Finally defeated my first Kuva lich. Had her since the system came out because she plopped herself on a very tough planet at the time and I had no Requiem mods. Decided to convert her because we've been through so much over the years! (and her weapon is garbage...)

You know, it means a lot to see such a positive reception to what I've shared of my comic project. It's certainly giving me the confidence to work on it more. I will reveal what it actually is... In due time 😉

The Steam Cartridge thing is actually fucking rad and I'd definitely start buying games that way if it were possible. Games are taking up too much space on my Hard Drive, so having a little external one that you plug and play, that can also be updated, is genuinely fantastic.

010

Jakobos @jakobos.art · 18/07/2026

Yeah I think it is! Makes me wonder if they'll ever do it again, though their current music team has been absolutely killing it, so I don't think they need to.

010

Jakobos @jakobos.art · 17/07/2026

I was shocked it all happened IN GAME and wasn't just a trailer for TennoCon. Also, 'Slipping Away' is a re shuffling of Into The Void and just feels like more song to enjoy haha

I've been having this issue a few months after getting my epson. I've avoided doing a power wash because I don't want to waste the ink. Just kinda left it as a "I'll deal with it later" for months now 😬

I want to draw Brysko and Tau fan art, but I should be focusing my efforts on my own Noir project 😅😅
