Took me 4 hours to get from Paris to home, bit late via the Eurostar leg of the journey but I arrived with 25 mins to spare to get to Euston for my connecting train. Seamless really.

Didn't see much of Paris due to my short stay. Would not want to drive in that city, was a fucking nightmare trying to get to Gare Du Nord. Walked the rest of the way to the station.

Turns out there wasn't a 41 min walk to the arena, just 5 mins from my hotel. Google maps hasn't updated the route so I was really happy to know I weren't going to have to go far and wide to get there. Decent pricing on food and drink too.

Witnessed my first Deathmatch show last night. Utterly brutal and captivated in so many ways. Should've captured more footage but I preferred to absorb it all through my own eyes and it was well worth it. The sacrifices the competitors made must not be cast aside at any point. Wonderful show.

A mixed week off for thee. I went to my first metal show, travelled on Eurostar, visited Amsterdam, saw my band outside the UK for the first time, come home and I've been ill on my birthday. Oh, but I did get to meet Eric Cantona and am now off to my first Indie Wrestling show. Wish I felt 100%.

Still ill on my 31st birthday. Got a letter from the council essentially doubling my council tax from November. Would've preferred a card. Knew it would happen. Been paying the correct amount since Mum passed away and now they've jacked it up because of me moving. Fantastic(!)

Been a manic day. Took delivery of a new washing machine as my current one had packed up last night and no one could help. Not the most flawless installation by the delivery drivers but I'm appreciative of them nonetheless. Two loads done and the tumble dryer is on now.
