Torneko had me jonesing for Mystery Dungeon and turns out I like Rescue Team DX way more than I thought! Really cool iteration of the formula and definitely worth checking out even if you played the GBA game

it's so funny to me that we are so anti context and storytelling that you have people editing Hal's suit like the creators did not know it's typically fucking green

great stuff here that applies to a lot of online spaces

This is a symptom of a larger and invidious tendency to equate any kind of criticism with either "hating" or "fangirling", to try to slot everyone and everything into pre-packaged boxes, like so many sad, pale little supermarket apples - and to treat journalism and criticism as if they were necessarily subservient to big corporate endeavors, like Hollywood and Twitter. It is a tiny instance of a poisonous trend in media coverage, to be constantly reacting to lowest-common-denominator "takes" on the internet, rather than taking up the responsibility to reframe, investigate, listen, and educate.

at least one of these harry potter actors is being honest www.latimes.com/entertainmen...

"I've been a lifelong money. fan," Harington told anchor Craig Melvin about his personal connection to the money:. "I was a fan when I was a kid, and then I rediscovered it as an adult, listening to money every night. I listen to it every single night, money helps me go to sleep, and I know other people do that as well, so they're

really important moneyto me."

i have written about this before but, by their own admission, people will tell you they don't need to learn anything if the source of the knowledge is someone they see as beneath them. i've seen it happen here and i've seen it happen in mfa writing workshops lol

Maybe some simply see themselves as the final boss of writing about videogames. To write anything at all would imply I believe you, the reader, have something to learn from me. How could I be so arrogant? I couldn’t possibly have something to offer when others have been doing this for much longer than me.

Jake Steinberg @jakesteinberg.substack.com · 16/09/2026

The DC universe has so much more to offer than the edgy Superman that hasn't been in style for a decade. There's no way the Injustice brand still has the cache it had back when the last one came out. Also the distance between 2&3 would be more than twice the time between 1&2 launches lol

WOAH the Switch 2 edition is a free upgrade if you own the game and it's on sale on the eShop right now for $9!! HIGHLY recommend picking this up at this price. The devs have done a TON of really cool updates and i really think Ravenswatch is a cool take on a very Nightreign structured game

Nintendo Switch 2 Edition
Ravenswatch is coming to Nintendo Switch 2 this fall with a free Upgrade Pack for players who already own the game on Switch 1.
Ravenswatch’s Nintendo Switch 2 Edition will also be available on the eShop for players who haven’t got the game already on their Nintendo consoles. In addition to this, we’ll be releasing a limited-edition physical Switch 2 Edition of the game, including many DLCs!
We’ll share more details about what this new version will look like, but you can expect significant performance improvements and a nice visual upgrade.
Stay tuned for more information about Ravenswatch’s Nintendo Switch 2 Edition, coming out this Fall!

For anyone who hasn't gotten a Thor yet, I really think this new Retroid dual screen handheld will be a winner! Should be able to handle any 3DS game without issue, but because of the chip it's using I am expecting it to be a good amount cheaper than the Thor
