I'm starting to fear we're not gonna get official releases for the rest of The Digital Circus soundtrack.

Jake's Mind Palace @jakesmindpalace.bsky.social · 23h

Knock it off with your fear mongering bullshit! I am fully aware YouTube views don't translate to box office numbers, but when they are THIS high and become the most popular videos on LAIKA's channel in practically no time, that means something.

Screenshot of the LAIKA youtube channel where trailers for their upcoming movie "WildWood" have 91 million and 88 million views respectively

Why are we giving any attention to a Skydance movie?

I saw a post that said "Pixar or Disney never acknowledged A Bugs Life after its release because of its messaging" and I see what they're trying to do... But babe, there was (among other things) an entire attraction that was in operation for 27 years!

Half the time I feel more at peace, in control and like myself than ever before, while the rest of it is spent in an almost catatonic state.

Life is weird right now. In certain ways i’m better than I have been in a long time. I have an amazing new group of friends, i’m exploring new hobbies (apparently i’m good at rock climbing), i’m exercising daily and just reached out to a local LGBTQ+ counselling service. But the emptiness remains

David Ellison is a pathetic, soulless loser, hell bent on destroying the entertainment industry out of petty revenge because he failed to launch an acting career 20 years ago!

Disney's Tarzan reportedly has at least 5 major deaths. It's described as one of the darkest movies ever made.

Seriously, the fact both Paramount and Warner Bros as a brand are essentially about to disappear despite being some of the most recognisable film studios fully tells you this was Ellison's plan all along. He didn't want to own these companies. He wanted to destroy them!

When I was little, my parents bought a set of Nicktoon Christmas gift tags which they were able to make last for a while by only using a few each year. I've been trying to find them for ages to no avail. Until a few days ago, when they showed up on Vinted. So happy to have these in the collection!

Sealed Nickelodeon Christmas gift tags with a gel pen. Their are 4 unique designs each featuring a different Nicktoon. Those being SpongeBob, Jimmy Neutron, Tommy Pickles and Eliza Thornberry.

Today I finally hit a wall as my exhaustion from the last few weeks has fully caught up with me. Not a surprise after having the time of my life, returning to the stage to play the role I've been preparing for since I was born.

I may have procrastinated due to soon returning to the stage, but i'm finally seated for Coyote v.s Acme. Good thing I checked and saw this weekend are the final showings. It feels so incredibly surreal that I'm actually about to see it after all it took to get here. We really did it, y'all!

Are people not getting the joke? Caine is dressed and acting like Christof from the Truman Show: the creator of the universe tv show who likens himself to a god. It's a twist on how the show had previously aluded to Caine being similar to Truman in the marketing.

From listening to his voice in animation and singing along to Muppet Treasure Island to discovering Clue and Rocky Horror in my teens, I had unknowingly grown up with him as a role model. As a kid who was always told I needed to tone myself down, he showed there was a place for people like me.

I unfortunately didn’t fully realize it until this past week, but Tim Curry has been perhaps my biggest inspiration as an actor. His performances were over the top and camp personified yet always felt so remarkably human.

Jake's Mind Palace @jakesmindpalace.bsky.social · 27/08/2026

If you’re able to, I cannot recommend picking up his autobiography “Vagabond” enough.

Tim Curry is often praised for his comedy roles and how much camp he could bring to anything. But it needs to be stated that he did all that on top of being a genuinely phenomenal actor. He is perhaps my biggest inspiration as an artist, and I strive to be even half the performer he was!

Dolly Parton was my literal dream of "If I get big money one day I'm just going to take what I need to live happy and spend the rest of it making everyone else happy making their projects true" She shouldn't be the exception, she should be the standard we hold everyone else up to

If there is a heaven, I don't doubt she'll be running the joint in practically no time. But between Betty White, Angela Lansbury, and now this - it's been a rough decade for the gays.

Dolly Parton could've easily been a billionaire, but she understood there was no reason for anyone to have that much money. Instead, she devoted herself to giving back to the people and communities who lifted her up. A talented performer, wonderful artist, and class act in every sense of the word!
