RE: theforkiverse.com/@jakesimonds/1161… This was my favorite forkiverse moment. I was afraid to say this joke on bluesky for fear of being yelled at, so I posted it here and I felt it was appreciated. Go Alysa Liu & go all girls with hair like that

@xebtl That's just a a great photo. I love it when one of the cover photo/profile picture pair shows the person, and the other is more abstract. Also congrats on 1K puzzles?!?! Well done!

Profile/cover photo combos that make forkiverse.jklb.social (first alt client for forkiverse I think?) look like a million bucks: 1: @Dknuffke . Amazing glasses + expression, 10/10. And then this was lovely to see, I was in Singapore just a few […] [Original post on theforkiverse.com]

@pj @Casey @kevin forkiverse.jklb.social might be the forkiverse's first alt client? Log in with your forkiverse handle, press 'Authorize' when prompted, and experience the forkiverse with keybindings, one post at a time. Still early and a few small […] [Original post on theforkiverse.com]

I was having trouble explaining jklb even before I added forkiverse.jklb.social, so PLEASE ask questions. Basically, leveraging open social protocols + LLMs I have been making an alt social media client. Designed to be multi-protocol. ATproto bluesky as reference implementation, now forkiverse […]

forkiverse.jklb.social. Log in with your forkiverse handle (so for me: jakesimonds, though jakesimonds@theforkiverse.com will work too). Clicking 'Authorize' gives jklb permissions to read/write on your behalf, it's just static code though no server or […] [Original post on theforkiverse.com]

jklb.social Forkiverse! I made an experimental bluesky/ATProto front-end. I kinda wanna see if I can port it to ActivityPub & if I did so, I'd try to do it for Forkiverse first. What do people like about Forkiverse? How is forkiverse different than your existing social media habits? For me […]

The original sin was the automated email. What an unholy abomination. An asymmetric "social" interaction with a sad employee on one end and thousands of defensive, untrusting (but yearning for connection), burnt-many-times suckers on the other end.

I feel lucky that my birth date of the month is > 12, so when using non-us forms it stops me for a invalid birthday. People born on the 1-12th of month...have you ever entered your birthday wrong on a form for a culture you're not native to?
