The bigger an event gets, the smaller of a percentage your participation in the overall going-ons becomes. So, especially if you've been on stage / the couch / crew before and aren't now, it's easy to suddenly feel... "dispensable"? "Irrelevant"? But you aren't - there's no event without the crowd.

Out of the 50+ webcomics I used to read it's one of the 5 or so I still keep up with. And I regularly read back chunks of it, usually based on links from the commentary. I also met some really, really cool people through it and the forums, like one now-Canadian cat! Good times.
