Aye, I thought Botman was good, but maybe he just had a lot more to do, so caught the eye more. I’d rather we stuck with him over Burn, but feel Burn will help massively with the game management side of things. Wish we could get the Botman pre injury back really, but doubt we ever will.

92% pass success rate yesterday including six into the final third and three line breaking passes. Compared to Wissa’s 70% success rate. I’d rather see Willock in that ten than Wissa - even if both are unsuitable for the long term.

I’ve always liked Willock. I accept his time here is coming to an end and you could argue we should have sold this summer, but you can have that view and think he’s having a decent start to the season. My point is more about people still saying he’s playing badly due to that existing bias.

Don’t think Jaissle’s system really allows the wingers to get many assists. They do have six goals between them though… they’ll get some assists, but they’ll not excel in that area regardless of who is up front.

I don’t think that’s what I’m saying. He wasn’t the same after injury, but he barely had a run in the team - how many of those 80 games were starts? My post is more referring to this season so far. He’s played well, and looked like he can have a role to play. Deserves credit for that.

Fair enough. Think the young lads need more rope myself as Miley was very good in the first two. Steur could play vs Leeds, be bad and then you’d have to do the same thing again.

Should be consequence for bad performance. I doubt he’ll start vs Millwall, but it’s a dangerous precedent to bench after one bad game. If he played like that against Leeds and Hull, then it’s more of a conversation. Need a good environment for young lads to make mistakes.

Obviously looks great with the ball, but he’s looked very short of understanding without it. Perhaps that’s less of an issue if you pair him with Nico, but Miley was a lot better than him against Liverpool.

Dedic and MFP are good signings, but it doesn't feel like they stepped down to us. Felt like the right level for us as a club. Nico feels like he's so out of place. Should be at a top Champions League team and would have been if Pep didn't leave City.

Nick Pope staying shows the lack of interest in him. Shame as I'd like to have seen him go to play. Thought Celtic or Rangers would have been perfect. That being said, if his options were being our third choice keeper or a second choice elsewhere on less money, his decision makes sense. #nufc

Got to trust the club. I think people underestimate how difficult it is to do a transfer for a good player. Most of the players that move today will either go for inflated fees or be bad. Easy to say we should sell Murphy and get a replacement in, but in reality, we'd probably get ripped off.

Probably not something that happened a lot in France, but I guarantee he doesn’t make the same mistake again. Agree, he was nerveless on the ball. Played a few really nice passes. Can see he has the tools to be a very good keeper. Just needs time to develop.
