That’s fair but also if I’m paying money for someone to draw my character, I do want it to look like my character even if they take a lot of liberties with posing and layout and action if that makes sense. Like I’d want it very clearly my gender, species, general colors etc.

The only downside in my mind (as a commissioner) is that there’s no obligation for the artist to actually follow your ref and no recourse if they just decide to give you something completely different or ignore everything you requested. Requires a lot of trust IMO.

2 slots are taken so far, please help me pay the bills while my mate interviews for a new job. We've got another $360 to go. I will add props and such for a small additional fee. Just message me to discuss what you want, I'm open to many things.

I know that nothing I say can take away that pain but sending you the warmest biggest hugs I can muster over the internet and wishing you peace and comfort as you navigate this period. Hugs.

Here we go! All three versions of the YCH base, TF, Base Color and Sketch Versions. Starting at $25 for just Character Lines with the simplified background, $45 for color, and $55 for the TF showing underlying human features (Because I do colors twice and mask one into the other).

Not a fan myself. They feel vaguely Victorian. I think they are a holdover from early cartoons where the adults animating probably did have experience with bonnets on babies from their childhood.

WIP for something fun in the works. I'm finally going to do a middles PiddlePunk multi-slot YCH! This one will be limited edition (only 4 slots) and will cost a bit more due to the level of detail. Will be doing these to help fund the merch I need to soon order for BFC. Will drop later this week.

Hey all, my car was damaged in a hit and run this weekend. We weren’t able to catch the jerk who hit me so now I’m on the hook for the $500 deductible and rental car for two weeks. If anyone has any extra they wouldn’t mind donating to help me out a bit it would be huge. ko-fi.com/jakehunterpup

Hey Toya won't bring it up but I will🎂🎁I'll also bring up a fun fact: I've known Toya for near 20 years it turns out because back when I was a wee babyfur in this fandom, Toya helped keep my family and I from going destitute on top of sending me diapers for MY birthday at the time. THIS A GOOD DOG

All of that to say, if you value us; if you like what creatives make and want us to keep existing and making things you enjoy, you just can’t reasonably argue for AI or lowering our prices that we need to set at a reasonable price to exist.
