Woke up the other morning to a yard full of black birds. Our yard’s huge, & the entire lawn was covered plus all the trees. They took off as one with a loud “swoosh” & cry. I cast a salt circle around my home, smudged with Palo Santo, & lit white candles (for purity) and a black candle (protection).

It can be sooo hard to decide what to write next, especially when you still have more than a few fulls out with agents/editors. I’m back and forth between a hooky, uber-commercial witchy romcom and a more serious dual timeline book club novel with a “science vs. spirit” theme. This game sucks. 🤦🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️
