even with the news of fortnite apparently finally coming to linux, i decided to dig up my old epic games account to delete it. all i really had on there was a free copy of death stranding and the radiohead walking sim which doesn't seem to be available elsewhere. whatever man, fuck video games.

roserade is a humanoid grass/poison type pokémon with rose bouquets for hands (red for the right, blue for the left) and a big white rose for her "hair", with a leaf mask and cape.

either in my train case or my magick trunk in the storage unit is a japa mala like this one, of buffalo bone carved into little skulls. i got them at a stand at the pumpkin patch like 20 years ago. (photo src)

i like to think of the modern interpretation of jesus as a sort of "megregore" as described in the psychonaut field manual. bluefluke typically spoke of brands and cartoon characters but i feel like "american jesus" is probably the best example of one.

Level Fourteen: Egregores Galore!
Egregores are local spirits shared non-locally by way of the collective unconscious. In doing so it becomes possible for multiple people to contribute to a much larger or more powerful spirit than would be possible for a single person.
Sigils: Sigils are primitive programmable thoughtforms and are easy to make into egregores. Religious and corporate symbols, logos and mascots are obvious examples of sigils in action. Simply create your sigil, spread it around and have as many people activate it as possible. Easy.
Megregores: Megregores are the most successful species of sentient egregores. So much so that the have on multiple occasions completely dominated the planet, enslaved their creators and used them to eliminate anyone not willing to worship them (i.e. feed them by way of attention). Scary shit. Create a spirit that is programed to benefit you in some way. "Spread the faith". The more people that feed them attention the more powerful they become and thus the greater your programmed benefit. Careful programing is required here, elsewise they'll quickly grow out of your control. If you're not careful you'll be the first against the wall.

anyway back to earthbound, i did find (some of) the writing in the player's guide. funnily enough the thing they wrote down is explained three pages later.

while checking EB's saves we noticed the SNES is having some graphical trouble but it seems to have cleared up with a few more games. also it seems my dad's LTTP save from the late 90s is still there. just got the last heart piece for ya, pops.
