Alright. It took a little bit of doing but here. The FULL email context where you can read through and make your own choice on this. I'm not playing "telephone", I didn't mention them for a reason, but with how they are acting I don't care anymore. I don't bother with people who talk like maga 🤷‍♂️

Ren: Hi there! I hope you’re having a great evening. My name is Renegade Operative, and I’m the co-host of a gaming group called The Infinite Ammo Syndicate. We’re known for unfiltered, passionate discussions about gaming, anime, comics, cartoons, you name it.

Recently, our Resident Evil coverage has evolved into something special, and that inspired us to build a dedicated horror community where fans can gather under one terrifying umbrella.

We’d love to have you join us and share in the enthusiasm. Our goal is to create a space that’s fun, informative, and packed with roundtable discussions. We’re also planning optional horror-movie nights, watch parties, and podcast tie-ins.

If you have any questions at all, feel free to ask! I’m always available on Discord or email.

TL;DR: We talk about horror gaming, horror literature, horror films, and horror TV. If you’re curious, swing by our server and see if it’s your kind of nightmare. It's no pressure at all!

🔮The Coven Of Nightmares - Discord Invite Code: /SBbskF4

Utau: Hello Ren,

This is the second time I have received an email from you and I was wondering what you think I could be able to bring to the table? I don't think those in the group follow me or view my content so I am really curious as to why I've been invited like this. If it is to just join the community you are building then please stop sending me these.

Sincerely Utau

Ren: Totally fair! I usually approach collaborations as a way to create overlap and build together, rather than relying solely on familiar followers. I understand if you’re looking for established familiarity. This is the first time I’ve gotten a reply, so I wouldn’t have known otherwise. I’ll be 100% mindful moving forward and won’t send collaboration ideas/e-mails if you don’t feel it’s a fit. All the best to you and your path moving forward.

Utau: I'm afraid there has been a misunderstanding, that or I am understanding that this was just an email to get me to join a server and be a community member of. If you are wanting a collab you should have said that in response to my question which is what is causing me to feel like this was not the case. The comments on the following was merely because I have never been reached out to in this way by another streamer for a "collab", usually there is some form of interaction with the other, discussion in order to see if we are a fit for a collab. Not just immediately inviting me to their group server with their friends. Sorry, but it was really off putting and raised pretty much all of my red flags.

Ren: So here's the thing: The way everyone does collabs is always going to differ from person to person. That's naturally how it is for some people. I get that you had another perspective on this and that's totally fine. I like breaking the ice immediately whereas someone else may need a bit more time or warning up that doesn't involve the group first. Let me clarify and say that being content with us is 100 percent optional. What users like to do is field the group out, get a handle on our personalities first, maybe watch some of our content and then they can decide for themselves what they want to do. If you feel this was a huge misunderstanding then I respect that. If you want to talk about this first and then decide for yourself or watch our content first then that's also completely fine by me.

I think collabs only work with some kind of ice breaker being initiated upon and we test the vibe. That's all I was trying to do and say by reaching up. I'm up for different suggestions and I'm up for voice chat. If you have a lingering difference after that then I'm not sure what to say if we cannot break the ice amicably in a peaceful fashion. I think we can or at least give a call a shot to clear the air, but the ball is in your court.
