But sometimes, you don't choose the job you want. You choose the job you need. And there should be no shame in that. I chose survival over pride. I chose to keep going rather than sit and wait for the "perfect" opportunity. Thankfully, my contract is finally coming to an end.

Then, slowly, the expectations increased. ➡️ Saturdays became working days. ➡️ Sundays became working days. ➡️ 9+ hour days became normal. ➡️ And for the past 3–4 months, there was barely a real weekend. All of this while earning significantly less than I had before.

Spent the day fine-tuning the HomeLab: migrated from Ubuntu Server to Debian. Local NAS Transmission Cockpit CI/CD Runners w/ FFmpeg & QuickSync Docker - Pi-hole - WireGuard - Minecraft Scheduled Backups, Scans, Updates and Reboots. Boot time dropped from 53s to 14s. Worth every minute.✨ #HomeLab

I started learning programming with Borland Turbo C, so this hit hard. Most people think Microsoft killed Borland, but this video nails what actually happened: they abandoned the developers who loved them to chase enterprise sales. That instant feedback compile loop changed everything. 💻✨ #DevSky

Sometimes when people refuse to listen, going idle is the only choice. You know something won't work, but saving your peace comes first. Let them break their heads over it and figure it out themselves. 🧠✨ #WorkLife

Just bought a new ThinkPad E14! 💻✨ While setting up Flatpak and clearing duplicate entries, I accidentally deleted /usr/share/applications. 🤦‍♂️ Thought I was doomed to nuke & reinstall the OS, but a 7-year-old AskUbuntu thread saved the day! askubuntu.com/questions/87... #Ubuntu #Linux #ThinkPad

Sick of constantly refreshing Amazon for price drops… Built a Node.js app on my M710Q HomeLab to automate it: 1. Drop the URL + target price into a CSV 2. With CRON it checks live price every 4 hours 3. Pings my Telegram the second it hits! What automation scripts are saving your sanity lately?! 📝
Screenshot of a Telegram web interface displaying a "Price Drop Alert!" from an Amazon India bot. The message lists a Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 5 laptop with its specifications, showing a current price of ₹105,000 against a target price of ₹120,000, along with a "Buy Now" link and product image preview.Screenshot of VS Code showing JavaScript backend code inside index.js for an Amazon price tracker, alongside a products.csv file listing tracked URLs and target prices. The integrated terminal shows the script executing via Node.js, successfully checking the two CSV products, confirming a current price of ₹105,000, and printing "Telegram notification sent successfully."

Mine was a Flash platformer in 2006. We had dial-up, so I couldn't watch tutorials. I bought a book and typed code line by line after school. The result? The scoring system broke so badly that scores went straight into negative numbers. 😅 Absolute disaster, but I learned so much!

Want to de-cloud your Apple ecosystem but hate heavy software? 🍍 pineapple-cloud is an ultra-lightweight, self-hosted iCloud alternative. Sync native macOS/iOS Notes, Calendar, Reminders & Contacts under 100MB RAM! 🔗 github.com/jaganganesh/... - #selfhosted #privacy #opensource #apple #macos #ios
A screenshot of the macOS System Settings "Internet Accounts" panel demonstrating the successful local configuration of "pineapple-cloud". Three distinct accounts are mapped to a local network server at 127.0.0.1. The first is an IMAP Mail account labeled "Pineapple Notes" configured specifically to natively sync Apple Notes. The second is an advanced CalDAV account named "Pineapple DAV" managing Apple Calendars and Reminders (Tasks). The third is an advanced CardDAV account named "Pineapple Contacts" syncing the native Apple Contacts address book.

This visual setup proves that privacy-focused Apple users can completely de-cloud their native macOS and iOS ecosystems using a single, ultra-lightweight Docker stack combining the Radicale DAV engine with a minimalist IMAP mail container. The entire footprint runs efficiently under 100MB of RAM, making it the ideal low-resource, open-source alternative to heavy suites like Nextcloud on a Raspberry Pi or a home NAS.
