i do appreciate the ~ease~ of sims 4 after days of playing ts2. i feel like i can’t really storytell in ts2 bc filling needs is a full time job

jaela 🦌 @jaelaspixels.bsky.social · 21/02/2025

it truly makes it impossible to stop playing the sims 😂 but i love it!!

jaela 🦌 @jaelaspixels.bsky.social · 19/02/2025

wish sims could walk on the treadmill :// my girly just wants to get her steps in not train for a marathon

jaela 🦌 @jaelaspixels.bsky.social · 14/02/2025

i thought this was just me, its been driving me nuts 😭

jaela 🦌 @jaelaspixels.bsky.social · 14/02/2025

i know we wont ever get a gallery overhaul but seriously this game is 10 years old, not being able to sort by “popular this year/month/etc” is insane. the most popular posts are from 2015-2017 😭

jaela 🦌 @jaelaspixels.bsky.social · 14/02/2025

why is there no big black puffer jacket in ts4 cas this is new yorker erasure

seems so random, i use them in every single save and have never had a single issue(knock on wood). insane this hasn’t been cleaned up yet though

personally i love ts3, but i wish people understood that it really was an outlier in the franchise, so the constant comparisons to ts4 are misplaced imo. better to compare 2 & 4!

100

i regret not doing reapers rewards waaah

000

really appreciating how little time the new event takes lol. esp if you use the pose player teleport to summon emit 😛

jaela 🦌 @jaelaspixels.bsky.social · 12/02/2025

my medieval save is on pause until the new ep but i’m so freaking hyped to have period accurate shops. candle shop on the ground floor weeeee i cant wait

jaela 🦌 @jaelaspixels.bsky.social · 08/02/2025

hopefully tailoring for everyone 🤞🏽 but that would be my guess!

since it says “golden years tailor” & one of the kits is called golden years, i assume sewing will come with that

140

ok last thought: people saying this is a let down like for rent breaks my heart bc for rent totally changed the game for me, there is not a single save of me that doesn’t use residential rentals since they’ve been introduced

i’ve been playing a grandma who “teaches”piano classes by using the mentor reward & then cheating up simoleans and now i can do it for real!!

you can hire family members in the new pack, dine out is crying in the corner

000

that said i’m stoked for the ep i just think it should have a different name LOL

most people seem to be repeating “but there’s only two hobbies, and only kind of” and they are correct! need someone to explain the name of this pack to me bc its unimaginative and also a little untrue?

100

watching a ton of trailer breakdowns and it seems like the sims could’ve saved themselves a lot of grief by simply not naming it “business and hobbies” which sucks as a name anyway

100

im stoked for cross pack integration personally, and i feel like this shows how wide the application of the pack will be! def a growing together type EP where it affects every save

000

i don’t want burglars in game i’m scaaaared

time for apollo the cat to be a reaper i guess!

jaela 🦌 @jaelaspixels.bsky.social · 05/02/2025

hi, just wanted to thank you for this family!! 🫶🏽 i’m playing with them now (+ a grandma and a cat i added hehe) and they are just the sweetest! ❤️

110

personally i am giving up on main menu mods, it keeps changing too often. and the new one has grown on me anyway! i like seeing it change for events, hope they change up for seasonal holidays too
