I also have a friend named Vali! She wears the outfit very differently though... Featuring @valiluscala.bsky.social but as a shark!

Sketch of an anthro shark woman with long hair, struggling to contain her large breasts in a too small crop top. She is wearing fishnets on her lower half and is dripping with what we hope is water.

The first two pages of my kink comic, "Bigurumi," are done! Expect dangerous curves ahead! I'm leaving you all on a cliffhanger while I go on holiday for a few weeks. If you like what I do and want to encourage me to make more, please consider donating or subscribing to my Ko-Fi: ko-fi.com/auroraart

A comic page featuring a blue canine lady (Shepherd) in office wear returning home from work and finding a package has been delivered for her. The dialogue reads, "Hey honey, I'm home! Work sucked." An off-panel voice replies, "Welcome home! A package turned up for you!" The package is opened and a note is attached to a packaged kigurumi that reads, 'Thought you might enjoy - A.' Our protagonist reads the note and says, "From Aurora? What has she sent me now?"

A second page of the comic. Our protagonist, Shep, is holding up a yellow onesie of a familiar character, and exclaiming, "A onesie! It's Adorable! Looks huge though... Ah well, I should still try it on." The next panels feature Shepherd with the onsie on and finishing zipping it up. "As I thought, too big. What did the label mean by, 'One Size Barely Fits All'? This thing is a tent! I should finish putting it on and take a selfie..." Once the suit is fully zipped up, a "Glorp"-ing sound is heard as the mass shifts and expands. The last panel is a close-up of Shep's shocked face.

Hello everyone! This a preview of a project I've been sitting on for a while and have resolved to try and finish. It's called, "BIGURUMI," and will be a short, kink-centric comic featuring @shepard017.bsky.social . I've got a busy couple of months ahead so it may take some time to complete.

A cropped, finished panel from an unfinished comic page. There is the title, "BIGURUMI," spashed across the top in large, rounded font. The panel shows a blue, anthro-canine woman in office attire. She has just walked in through the front door and is kicking off her shoes. There is a speech bubble that says, "Hey Honey, I'm home! Work sucked."

One of the furry community's originals, Roz Gibson, is in really big trouble. She is in kidney failure, and needs a donor, so please reskeet. www.furaffinity.net/journal/1138...

I’ve thought long and hard about making this post, but really, at this point, I don’t have much to lose. Desperate times, and all that.

TLDR version: I need a kidney transplant, and I’m looking for a donor. Read below for all the gory details.

Since late 2019, right before Covid hit, I’ve been battling a serious illness. I’ve been kind of cagey about what exactly is wrong, for a number of reasons, but here’s the truth—I’m in full kidney failure.

There is no history of this in my family, so when the symptoms began appearing I didn’t recognize them until it was too late. By the time I went to a doctor my kidney function had dropped into the single digits. Most kidney failure is caused by diabetes or high blood pressure—I got some weird kidney disease I can’t even pronounce and never heard of: Oxalate Nephropathy.

By adopting some dietary changes and careful monitoring, I was able to limp along with reduced kidney function for several years. But you don’t appreciate how much your kidneys do to keep you healthy until they stop working. There’s constant fatigue and nausea, and a general feeling of unwellness that never goes away.

But eventually I lost even what minimal function I had left, which left the end of the line for kidney disease: dialysis. As of this point I’ve been on dialysis for about 3 years. Let me tell you—dialysis is its own special kind of hell that you wouldn’t wish on your worst enemy.

But even that is just a stop-gap measure, and my condition is continuing to get worse. Despite this, I’m trying my best to live as normal a life as possible. I’m extremely lucky I have a job that’s willing to allow me 9 hours a week for dialysis, so I’m still working. On weekends I work on my art and comics, and one or two days a month I do my volunteer work at the bird-banding site. I can even travel to see my family—if I arrange for dialysis at a local clinic ahead of time.

All of that is done while trying to deal with the symptoms of kidney failure. I’ve known 4 people who were on dialysis—none of them worked or really did much of anything, and at this point they’re all dead, which doesn’t really give me a lot of hope for my future.

Which brings us to the point of all this—I desperately need a kidney transplant. That is the only thing that will give me a chance at a relatively normal life. I’ve been approved and on the transplant list for a few years, but the waiting period in California is very long. By the time I get to the top of it, I may be too sick to get one. Right now I’m still in relatively good condition, comparatively. A transplant from a living donor lasts much longer and is better in every way than one you get from a deceased donor.

Unfortunately, everyone in my immediate family is too old or has other health problems that preclude donation. So this post is a desperate attempt to find anyone willing to donate. I realize donating a kidney is a lot different than giving ten bucks to a GoFundMe, but as I said at the beginning, at this point I don’t have much to lose by asking.

Here is the living donor site: https://www.uclahealth.org/medical-.....t/living-donor

You can inquire and even arrange to donate completely anonymously if that’s what you want. Hopefully there’s a Jack Salem fan out there who wants to see the stories (and the artist) continue for years to come.

That is all.
