I’m gonna do something horrible and use a modern 500w PSU on this machine that I doubt draws over 60 watts under load

One biggie is I gotta wire a L7905 + some capacitors together to tap the -12v line of a modern PSU to get -5v that ISA cards need but modern psus wont natively give. Otherwise ISA cards won’t work

Digital artwork of a dragon's neck and head. Its scales are primarily colored a light sky blue, and its spikes and horns are gold. Many of its scales also have bright magenta regions. Its eyes are a shiny black.

Its long neck its twisted in a snake-like position, with its head facing left. Its teeth are visible on the outside of its lips, much like crocodile teeth, and its snout is tipped in a bone-like beak structure. Two of its top teeth are especially long and tusk-like, curving outwards from either side of the head. The dragon has 3 pairs of horns, the longest and thickest of which is the highest pair on the back of the head. A thick but short spike, similar in appearance to the horns, is located on the side of the head, near the back of the jaw.

3 rows of spines extend down the creature's neck, and each spine is gold in color, with a magenta base. The center row of spines is significantly taller than the others, and each spine of this row is lobed in the center. Each lobe is patterned with white and purple spots.

The dragon's environment is a cloud scene at sunrise. It consists of pastel pinks and pale purples. Some sky blue is also visible at the top of the illustration, and in the rightmost top corner the sky fades to navy blue. In front of the dragon, some pink clouds form a circular shape that frames the creature's face.

Creature Concept: Northern Dragon

A white dragon sits up on a snowy tundra plain. Black rocks litter the ground, and grey clouds cover the skies, which are grey with blizzard clouds. Beneath the dragon's front claw is a human skull.

The dragon has folded pterodactyl-like wings with hairy claws for fingers. Its back legs are also fluffy, and look much like the talons of a snowy owl. 3 horns grow from the dragon's head; 2 short ones from the back, and 1 longer, forked one from the center. The tail ends in a triangular barb made from the same material as the horns, and sensory bristles stick out from the length of the tail like whiskers. Similar whiskers, only shorter, are found on the cheeks and the tips of the ears.

Creature Concept: Baldhart the Black Flame (fire dragon)

the only thing that brings me comfort is these datacenters are inhernetly economically unsustainable, they cost billions a year and these companies are building more than they actually make enough money to sustain, so when the investors cash out, they're fucked.

I know a person irl who has the entire left side of their body paralized and still does very expert level embroidery, single-handedly (literally) Your hobbies may and WILL be harder, but as long as your body functions at all, you can work through it If you have the will.
