Since I missed #Caturday last week, I'm doubling up this week. Featuring tails, mostly.

Djuna, a tuxedo cat with elegantly symmetrical markings, sits upright with her tail draped off to the right. She is sitting on an elaborate Turkish carpet, with a bookcase and an air purifier visible behind her.

Tuxedo cat Djuna (basically black in this view, since none of her white markings are visible) is lounging on top of a large cat tree, looking out of a window, with her tail dangling down behind her. The picture also shows a lamp and some houseplants on the left.

Two tuxedo cats lying on a folded back duvet cover. On the left, Djuna is lying with her head twisted back so the underside of her chin is facing up. On close inspection, some of her little teeth are visible. Her tail is behind her, curling to the left, standing out against the white background. Next to her on the right is Jacko, who is basically in a loaf position, but with his head turned to look at Djuna, and his tail curled to the left and enough away from his body to also be quite visible.

Yet more feline entanglement, plus an unexpected view where they really look like twinsies, #Caturday

Two tuxedo cats on an ottoman covered by a dark turquoise colored fleece blanket. The cat on the right (Jacko) is lying with his head draped over his sister's head. The cat on the left (Djuna) is lying with her head tipped back, chin facing the ceiling, and seems (at least for the moment) perfectly comfortable with her brother's head across her neck.

Two tuxedo cats lying on a folded back duvet cover. They are curled up facing each other. The cat on the left, Djuna, has her front paws draped across the belly of cat on the right, Jacko. One of Jacko's front paws can be seen tucked against Djuna's chest. Djuna is looking sleepily at the camera, while Jacko is comfortably ignoring the human presence.

Two tuxedo cats on an ottoman covered by a dark turquoise colored fleece blanket. They are curled up next to each other, both facing right, with their paws tucked in. This view shows some white on the underside of each cat's jaw, and a uneven splash of white on each cat's lower belly. The cat on the right, Jacko, has a bit more white visible on his chest, but otherwise they really look like a matched set. The way they are positioned hides all of the other ways that their markings differ.

Chaotic tuxedos, individually and as a duo. #Caturday

Two tuxedo cats snuggling on a white comforter. On the left, Jacko's face is turned away but the stripe of white on his nose is visible. On the right, Djuna is looking sleepily at the camera; her face is black except for her white chin. The two cats' bodies are pressed together into a barely differentiated mass of black fur.

Small tuxedo cat Djuna lounging on the highest platform of a cat tree, with her feet dangling to one side and her chin resting on the platform's low side wall.

Tuxedo cat Jacko sprawled atop a large blue plastic tub with a mat somewhat askew on top of it. He is lying on his side, so his very irregular and chaotic white markings can be seen.

Two cats on the ottoman, in various poses. #Caturday

Two tuxedo cats on an ottoman facing a television which is mostly out of frame. On the right, Djuna is looking attentively at the screen. On the left, Jacko is facing the screen but his ears are turned outward, and he doesn't seem to be looking up. (This is characteristic of their respective inclinations to notice movement on a screen.) They are both in loaf configuration, and very little of either of their white markings are visible.

Two tuxedo cats lying next to each other on an ottoman. Both are positioned diagonally with their heads toward the top right and rumps to the bottom left. Both of their heads are up and they are looking slightly toward the right (although Jacko may actually be looking at Djuna, who is in front of him).

Two tuxedo cats on an ottoman, positioned diagonally as before but now relaxed and curled up with their heads down. Jacko's face is pressed against Djuna's back.

Assorted configurations of 2-cat snuggle pile. #Caturday

Two tuxedo cats snuggling on an ottoman covered with a deep turquoise fleece blanket. Both cats are facing away from the camera, spooning.

Two tuxedo cats snuggling on a shelf attached to a window. The shelf has a grey fleece cover, and a hot pink cat toy is visible next to the cats. One cat is curled in a C shape facing left and towards the camera; the other is curled tightly inside the C, facing to the right with a paw over their face, white markings on face and belly visible.

Two tuxedo cats snuggling on a bed. They are lying at the junction of a white duvet cover and a dark blue fleece blanket. Both are facing to the left. The cat closer to the camera is in loaf formation; the other cat is sprawled back with paws out and some toe beans visible.

A short clip of the aforementioned wrassling Happy belated #Caturday

A typical scenario: first there is snuggling, then a bout of grooming / wrassling (video to be provided in comment), then the littler cat takes over the preferred spot. #Caturday

Two tuxedo cats lying peacefully together on an ottoman covered by a turquoise-colored fleece blanket. Djuna is curled up facing left, and Jacko is on her right with his head resting on her shoulder.

One cat (Djuna) is victoriously sprawled on the ottoman, the other (Jacko) is on the floor sulkily considering where to go next.

Bonus close-up of Djuna's toe beans, which are a mixed lot, three black and one pink bean showing clearly against the white fur on her paw.

They had been looking out the window, but apparently I interrupted. #Caturday

Two tuxedo cats sharing a small platform attached to a window. The cat on the left (Djuna) is sitting up with her tail dangling off the shelf. Her face is mostly black but with a white chin and whiskers. The cat on the right (Jacko) is in loaf formation. He has an irregular white blaze in the center of his face. Below the cat's platform is a very messy desk with stacks of paper, a box of tissues, and some containers of nail polish.

A bit of the San Francisco skyline on a pleasant Saturday afternoon in June. #pride

An expanse of blue sky with wispy white clouds above elegant rooftops. A building in the foreground has a large rainbow flag, and one further away has a progress flag, and on yet another building is a flagpole with two flags (harder to make out, but the top one appears to have more bright colors, and the lower one might be the California bear).

The other evening a small grocery delivery (in need of refrigeration) was left on the wrong doorstep. Thus I had to leave the house during the time of maximum feline anxiety, AKA the hour before their dinner. After grumpily making my way through the very dark front […] [Original post on mas.to]

Lately I've been trying to get a good picture of the two of them that show both of their facial markings. This one isn't too bad, except you can't see their eyes! #Caturday

Two tuxedo cats lounging on a bed. Both have their faces turned more or less towards the camera, but they both seem to have their eyes closed. The cat on the left (Jacko) has a white blaze on his nose and a white bib, and one white-tipped paw is visible. The cat on the right (Djuna) has a white chin and a white bib, and is lying at an angle where some of her white fluffy belly fur can be seen. They both have white whiskers, but in this picture Djuna's whiskers are dramatically highlighted against her black fur.

This cat toy consists of a plush fishey dangling on a string attached to a short pole which attaches to a table or similar surface with a suction cup. Djuna the chaos muppet repeatedly pulled this toy down and then chewed on the suction cup so it no longer works. But […] [Original post on mas.to]

Yesterday was Jacko and Maddie's gotcha day anniversary. It's been about 11 months since Maddie passed, and I still miss her something fierce. It's been about 5 months since Djuna came home, and she is a continual chaotic delight, and Jacko's best buddy. He was very […] [Original post on mas.to]

Two cats snuggled up on a bed, both looking toward the camera. On the left is Maddie, a chonky dilute tortoiseshell calico. On the right is Jacko, a tuxedo cat with a white blaze on his face.

A small tuxedo cat with a mostly black face looks up timidly from inside a cardboard box placed on its side. This was Djuna's hidey hole when she first came to live here.

Jacko recently decided that this semi-enclosed section in the cat tree was a nice place to snooze. A few hours later, I found Djuna in the same location (but didn't manage to get any good pictures). The sibling rivalry is real :catjoy: #Caturday

Two tuxedo cats are snoozing in the upper sections of a cat tree. On one of the uppermost platforms is Djuna. In this picture, all of her white markings are hidden. In the next level down of the cat tree, there is a kind of box with two open sides. Jacko is curled up inside of the box, with his white-blazed face and one white paw visible.

Yet another Djuna and Jacko cuddle pile. It is very typical that Djuna keeps her head up while I'm nearby (she has been here 4 months now but still has her doubts about the situation). Jacko, in contrast, is completely relaxed. #Caturday

Two tuxedo cats snuggling on a bed. On the left, Djuna looks comfy but still somewhat alert. On the right, Jacko is curled up and has tucked his face into Djuna's side. On both cats, mostly black fur is visible, with just a few white markings evident.

Adventures of indoor cats: 1. Djuna noticing the moving images on the TV screen for the very first time when I watched a documentary about ravens. 2. Jacko atop the bookcases, communing with the plushies, as is his occasional wont. (Not pictured: both of them […] [Original post on mas.to]

Djuna, a small tuxedo cat, is in front of the television with her paws up on the TV stand. She is watching the movement of a flock of ravens on the screen. One white paw is visible. The photograph has poor quality due to dim lighting.

Jacko, a tuxedo cat with a white blaze on his face, sits alertly on top of a set of bookcases. He is immediately behind a row of small plush toys.

Per usual, coming in just under the wire for #Caturday. Here's Djuna and Jacko using the full height of the cat tree.

A very large cat tree in front of a window. One tuxedo cat (Djuna) is lounging on the uppermost platform. Another tuxedo cat (Jacko) is nestled in a scratcher box resting on the very bottom of the structure.

I am not sure if this picture represents the moment when they are about to start wrassling, or if they are just glaring at me to leave them alone so they can snuggle up and resume napping. Maybe they haven't decided? #Caturday

Two tuxedo cats lying together on a bed. They are curled up next to each other with feet touching each other's torsos. Both are looking vaguely toward the photographer. Per usual, late posting for #Caturday. For a change of pace, individual pictures of my two tuxedo chaos muppets.

Djuna sprawled on the floor, showing off some of her white belly. She is partly on a Turkish rug, near some shoes. In the foreground is a blanket-covered ottoman on which are the handles of some cat toys.

Jacko on top of the living room bookcases, behind a row of plush toys displayed on the top. He is probably trying to decide what to knock off.

A couple of views of the rare two-headed tuxedo lump. Per usual, I'm a bit late for #Caturday so just pretend I'm in some time zone floating in the middle of the Pacific ocean.

Two tuxedo cats (mostly black with some white markings) snoozing together on a bed. The head of the cat to the right is tucked against and camouflaged by the rump of the cat to the left. They are lying on a duvet cover with a purple and white tentacle pattern.

Two tuxedo cats are sharing a small platform on a cat tree. The smaller of the two is mostly behind the larger, so the picture almost looks like a large two-headed cat.
