killed a player character in #pathfinder2e tonight!
screenshot of my obsidian vault for our pf2e spore war campaign. Session 21, titled ":(", has a summary that says "Edith died."

in tonight's #pf2e session (spore war): the summoner's eidolon was momentarily forgotten in the middle of a calistrian temple's drinking area
A FoundryVTT scene with a variety of character tokens scattered around the area. Toward the lower center of the screen, an ethereal glowing entity has been left on its own; beneath it, the all-caps text "ADDRESS ME", referencing the "address the elephant in the room" phrase and corresponding meme, has been added beneath it.

i did end up porting some of that New Obsidian Vault Hotness into my Rusthenge vault and oh yeah. this is great. having the automatically-populating Campaign Overview page and Appearance/Mention Lists on NPCs, locations, organizations, and creatures - pulled from my session notes - is so nice
A screenshot of my Campaign Overview table in Obsidian, made with the Dataview plugin, for my Rusthenge game. The titles of the first two sessions, their summaries, and the dates those sessions took place on are listed in the table.

starting with, of course, a Campaign Overview with session names as links, session summaries, and session dates displayed in a table (sorted by date), courtesy of the dataview plugin >:3c
A screenshot of my Obsidian vault, showing a note titled "Campaign Overview". The screenshot is focused on a table, with the leftmost column displaying the names of some example sessions, the middle column showing example text of those sessions' summaries, and the rightmost column displaying the dates of those example sessions.

An "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia" screenshot with altered subtitles that read as follows: "That doesn't sound right, but I don't know enough about hitboxes to dispute it."

sawing off parts of roll for combat's werecreature ancestry and awakened animal then gluing them together to make a laguz/taguel-inspired ancestry for the setting...
An incredibly poor quality, zoomed-in screenshot of an emote from Discord. It's a jester, wearing a colorful hat and fabric around their neck, smiling with wide eyes, a big smile, and their hands on their face.

you may not like it, but this is what ideal tactics in #pathfinder2e look like: off-guard conga line. this is definitely true and should not be fact-checked
The party in my Pathfinder 2e campaign, fighting against two scaly guys and a bald human. They're arranged in such a way that they're flanking each other, with one enemy followed by one party member. The Druid's leshy familiar, the Runesmith's animal companion, and the party's goblin wizard watch from one row down.

dubious little creature......
A pencil doodle of a character wearing a wide-brimmed wizard hat, a cloak with a high collar, and overly large circular lenses as the only thing visible of their face.

it'll almost certainly need more tweaks in the future, but. it's already so much nicer than my old format AND I can just drop it into new notes since it's a template... or. hit the button that's set up to automatically create a new note with the template in the right place >:3c
A screenshot of a "Session Notes" template from my Obsidian vault. It has a drop-down selector for picking one of the players to note who gave a recap of the prior session, a field for entering notes on the current session, places to link to the prior and next session notes, a callout box to the right for a summary of the session, and buttons to create new session, NPC, group, and settlement notes.

okay. hear me out. versatile heritage human wizard, school of unified magical theory for the hand of the apprentice focus spell. grab weapon proficiency as your general feat of choice. pick up the new combat fishing pole (from war of immortals) as your weapon of choice #pathfinder2e
An image of an individual with blonde hair and a beard, wearing sparkly blue robes and a hat both with silver trim, viewed from behind. They are holding a fishing rod and fishing from some sort of body of water. The text on the image reads (in all caps), "Told the Mages Guild I would work on my casting" above the individual, and "but I didn't say which kind!" below them.

since it doesn't have a remaster equivalent (that i'm aware of, at least), i reworked the pf2e wood golem in Strength of Thousands a bit for my table. toned down Splinter Volley a bit for the 4th level party, but gave it a new interaction with its Splinter reaction #pathfinder2e
A slightly reworked wood golem stat block that I did for my Strength of Thousands game. Compared to the normal, pre-remaster wood golem stat block, it has lost the Golem Antimagic ability in favor of resistance 5 to spells and weakness 10 to fire. In order to make its Splinter Volley ability less dangerous for the level 4 party it goes up against in the aforementioned Adventure Path, it now features a 1d4 cooldown period after use, though with a special interaction added to its Splinter reaction - instead of making a splinter Strike against the triggering creature, it can now recharge Splinter Volley if it is on cooldown when taking physical damage.
