Caught another lil Mediterranean house gecko! Gonna put him back outside, the silly goober. I cannot tell you how many times I got them out of drains, got flung out of my yoga mat bc I didn't know it was there. Poor babies lol.

Made it home safely from SLC, UT. Imma take an hour nap then doodle some cute stuff I have swimming in my brain box. Husdragon is feeling a lil better, he just needs to rest and drink more hot tea. ;;

I am 98% sure husdragon has a touch of the flu going around. He lost his voice during work yesterday and I have been trying my best to boost his immunity while we are out of town with what I can muster up in remedies. Just gotta push through today.

Made it home safely from McAllen, TX. That 16 hour drive can stuff it and I really hope we don't have to do that one again. x_x

I just saw black crested caracaras in the wild!! I just learned about them and MUST make a gryphon character out of it mixed with an ocelot. Finally a perfect match for my hubby to blend in with my secretary bird lioness gryphon.

Check out the cool hidden feature of this custom set of paws: this is a forest fungi creature, and lots of mushrooms are fluorescent (like these turkey tail mushrooms!) and some even are bioluminescent, like a certain type called the foxfire mushroom that lightly glows green like the claws do! 🍄🐾💚🌲

Aaaah, they did such an incredible job on these paws! ;; I cannot wait to receive them and show them off just in time for Autumn season! I definitely recommend commissioning a pair. They have several options available as well as a pdf file for the pattern.

Had a total of 5 teams working shows. All of them quit yesterday, except for 1, leaving just my husdragon and I plus one other one. We are being pressured to find a replacement. I am in a baking mood and need to bake dill flat bread, scones, and make mushroom chili next week. And some hookah time.

To celebrate September 1st, I used a pumpkin spice body scrub to massage all over myself in the shower. The spice of Fall must floooow. I also realize it's the start of mushroom month. Gonna have to scribble Brambie sometime in appreciation, as she is my only OC with shrooms growing on her.

I had an incredible time last night at the hookah lounge with Zyleeth and Exodite, along with a round of Cards Against Humanity. Thank you guys for hosting us and hanging out while we were in town! You know there will be funny sketches coming y'all's way in the next couple weeks. XD

I can officially say I am addicted to playing PoT. I grew my first adult dino recently--a styracosaurus! These screenshots were taken by Zyleeth and she is the bigger rhino type. :3 I had a great time chilling as a herd last night. 💜 Next I will grow a carnivore when I get time.

Today has been such a clusterfuck. I love it when my hubby comes to headbutt me, ask how so and and just snuggles me. I am let the stress out the door and focus on all positive notes. <3

The next 3 weeks are going to be Hell for work with all long travels for work shows. I will be available via Telegram or Discord if peeps need to find me. <3 Otherwise, I have 3 days this week before leaving that I really hope to get a sketch or 2 done. 🤞

Leaving early tomorrow for Waco, TX weekend show. My new internist doc is amazing and is helping me heal few things plus an autoimmune scalp psoriasis issue I've been fighting for a couple years. I need to find out what causes flares but the foam med is a start.

We have 2 quail families that go through our property. One has 14 pullets we have watched since lil nuggets and another 3. We feed them and they know when to get food. We had a crazy dust storm tonight where a neighbor caught one of the babies and asked permission to reunite it to the flock.

The sketch I did 4 days ago when I got time to myself for a couple hours. Cicada pin-up with crystals. (Bc she is an amethyst fruitbat dragon from another world) I plan on inking it this week but my schedule for work changed so it may be a bit.

It's ironic it's my weekend 'off' but the boss has us opening the warehouse on the 4th for 8 hours hoping ppl didn't travel to come buy shit while I die in triple digit heat. I am also SO tired bc of personal issues right now. This week has been ROUGH but I am forced to smile and endure. 🫠

Golden, Colorado was a VERY successful show, way more than expected. I had wonderful times in both TX and CO, but it's time to start my trek back home to AZ. It will be interesting to see what has changed in 11 days.

Back to the work grind for the weekend in Colorado. The past 2 days were lovely with a zoo, aquarium, museum trip, and a trail walk. Nature blessed us with a lot of charm I wish I could have recorded, but believe me it was wonderful.

Red-wing Blackbird male sitting on a wooden post singing.

Red earred slider turtle doing sun basking 'yoga' pose

Young Sumaritan tiger lying down with forearm and paw extended lounging

Sea anemone waving serenely in a tide pool.

I had a wonderful time this weekend in Texas between work hanging out with Zyleeth and Exodite, enjoying some great food and hilarious moments that will spawn some great doodles when I get home next week. I am so thankful to have such great friends. Path of Titans is probably gonna be bought, too.

I should really doodle more lore related pics of Cicada. She has such a diverse background I think it would be cool to elaborate certain scenes of her lifestyle.
