dungeons 2 runs so smoothly on a steam deck i'm actually very happy to report if valve updates proton to naturally include the fixes necessary to run the game, it'll be a top tier recommendation my only gripe is that battery life appears to be absolutely abysmal, but i only need an hour really

i will say, i'm very disappointed by the disconnect of online/offline characters. i'm sure there's some internal reason for it, but my workplace has a very spotty internet connection. i'd like to be able to level and grind my co-op character without needing to be in online mode.

i also will say i've seen this in many pumpkin farm tutorials so this final issue is NOT a him problem, someone else started it i do NOT get why they put blocks over the pistons. it works fine like this. there's no efficiency downsides it's just wasting blocks to waste blocks i dont get it

a farm more like this is more practical to show, this 2 block wide cell can be infinitely tiled... and using redstone blocks for powering rails is way overkill, especially more than just one at each end. ... i mean, look how far the hopper minecart travelled before stopping

the farm actually has all the core principles right, it just fails to show the best way to take advantage of them i think most players who want an automatic pumpkin farm will want a larger one, for pumpkin-heavy activity. otherwise manual farming is usually plenty

i think the ancient city vault idea you proposed actually beats anything else we've both come up with though lol i think more creative vaults that you can just directly open, but spawn a challenge for getting away from them alive... ough that fucks supremely

i do think the ender dragon key drop is actually a pretty good idea, since the vault is intended for the elytra specifically. though i'd also add "one key in a chest per city" so the dragon kill isn't 100% needed. it's just the renewable strat

i feel like evokers as a key source won't be the greatest solution, still a limited one-time resource at the mansion itself. raids make it a "functional" solution, but i do think it still doesn't feel in the spirit of what i would want the vaults to accomplish tbh

i don't compleeetely agree that's part of the incentive to do raids, but saddles were definitely on the list of "things to do a raid for sometimes" i think the ravager's loot table should be adjusted so taking him down still has a practical reward, even if its something like 5 emeralds a ravager.

the structures that i think need the biggest adjustment and most love could easily see relevant updates soon enough and i hope something will be done about their flaws in said updates. the woodland mansion is the only one i'm truly scared will be abandoned forever. they hate that thing

overall i think every loot table for every structure in the game prior to... i wanna say 1.13? could use a quick passover and adjustment as far as mobs go, just the ravager needs adjustment really. literally what is his job now

i also still think that adding recipes for name tags and saddles was a huge blow to the game's loot table quality on the whole that should be retroactively accounted for there is a miniboss who's sole role is to drop 1 saddle. is he going to get laid off mojang????

i don't see a good reason why the ancient city, woodland mansion, and end ship shouldn't have a trial chamber vault system in place. i do think "how do you get a key though" is a good question that i can't answer, but the structures are so rare and annoying everyone should get a shot at the loot.
