Oh yes thank you ! I read a number of their fics if I remember correctly.

I haven't heard of Tom before this but thought the choice was just so deliciously meta

Oooh you did? I could've sworn there was a whole thread about emulators and things you've found. But regardless, I very much enjoyed the creativity you've poured into that fic!

I remember being absolutely awe inspired by the creativity that went into all this. I think you found a voice emulator too around that time?

Last night, I met a tall man with angular features and long black hair, whose name was Kyle. I kept accidentally calling in him Kylo and I think he stopped bothering to correct me.

I'm watching a class on dopamine addiction and getting very annoyed about the educator using "increasingly graphic romantsy novels" to illustrate how she was addicted. Romance novels are used so often to patronize and shame women about their sexual fantasies - could there be no other examples?

Oh man, I'm sorry, that can feel so disheartening. Your writings, however, are so full of heart and feels that I know people who enjoy your work would spot the difference in a heartbeat.

Thank you for sharing! I'm screaming in Reylo. And also?? The Hunt For Ben Solo will launch a thousand fics.

In the meantime, they lost over a mil on Tron... because the last two movies were sooooooo popular.

I get that. For us, Picard is the always included one.

Every year, my husband and I have mock arguments over which Star Trek captains go on the Yule tree. It comes down to Janeway, Kirk and Sisko. I'm a Voyager fan and he's a DS9 fan, so Kirk often sits out. Also? I'm Jewish 😂

Agreed, I don't fault agents at all for trusting publishers to uphold contractual terms without needing to check each title. I'm glad your agent is handling it now that they know! And it definately raises a point about future contractual terms.

Jade D. Warren @jadedwarrior.bsky.social · 29/08/2025

Yes, although I'd imagine most authors with trad are agented, and I would think it's an agent's responsibility to hold the publishers accountable for a pretty big breach of contract. Either way, I was stunned to find this out.

I used to work in publishing ( mostly in the indie side) so if you ever want to talk shop, I'm game:)

Ooooh are we getting enemies to lovers in modern coworkers AU vibes??Aka my fave trope ????

Jade D. Warren @jadedwarrior.bsky.social · 18/07/2025

Not me explaining to my boss for a good ten minutes why the casting choice for Adam Carlsen is so meta, and why #reylo Bluesky is collectively in various stages of screaming.

Omfg!!!!!! I'm glad they got caught at least but jfc!

Jade D. Warren @jadedwarrior.bsky.social · 10/03/2025

Oooh tell me more about a dark!Rey!

100

Jade D. Warren @jadedwarrior.bsky.social · 09/03/2025

I was initially thinking with Kylo being Igor and Rey being Ani, but now you got me thinking how to choreograph that fight and tie down scene if Rey was Igor and Ben was the pretty dancer caught up in all this. She'd have to use some serious moves to get him to submit but I think she could take him.

Jade D. Warren @jadedwarrior.bsky.social · 09/03/2025

Huh. Reylo in the Anora AU. I can just... taste it.
