iiinova — where your digital self keeps evolving

This is why I read old dystopian Novels. They were written in the hopes that society would steer away from the future depicted in the book. I just finished "Make Room! Make Room! (Harry Harrison)" and.... yeah, an overpopulated world because birth control was restricted.

Day 4 of a very overdue #veiltober: Lucanis First art of the year! (Though I did most of it last year.) I'll be very honest, I haven't been enjoying Veilguard, which is disappointing because I love Dragon Age as a whole. But I do love #Lucanis <3 #dragonage #digitalart #art #illustration #veilguard

Lucanis from Dragon Age Veilguard enjoying a coffee. He is in his casual wear and eyes are closed with content. The art is in chibi form, with some simplified wings behind him.

I swear I'm still here! I'm just afraid to look at my feed with Veilguard released. I'm doing my best to finish so I can admire all your amazing art! (And draw some veilguard art myself 😍)

I was going to scroll through and love on some art. But there's enough veilguard spoilers I'm going to refrain for now.

Wanting to write a book for November (Avoiding Nanowrimo as a site), but Veilguard popping up and showing my true priorities. Will do my best to avoid spoilers, so if I'm quiet, I'm busy gaming 😀

Oh this is awesome! The way you've done the blood is so macabre and realistic, it's fantastic! Makes me want to read Berenice myself 💖 Very inspiring.

Aw thank you! I really liked the idea of just one looking out and watching the scenery.

Day 3 of #veiltober : Fade I always loved the concept art of dreamers in the fade. These flame like beings that weren't even aware of where they were. I also loved the concept of always seeing black city, ever in the distance. #dragonage #digitalart #art #illustration #veilguard

A green coded landscape filled with rocks. In the sky in the distance is a floating city. On the rocky landscape, sits an orange, flame-like figure, staring out at the city.

Oh I love the lighting in this, it's absolutely gorgeous. You really show the love in this movement, the gentle expressions, the close contact, it's so sweet, good job! 💖

Day 2 of #veiltober : Rift Original version referenced a bit too heavily from some other art, and so I'm uploading a fixed version. I'll be sure to avoid leaning that hard on references in the future ^^ #dragonage #dragonageinquisition #dragonageart #dai #art #digitalart #illustration #veilguard

This is really cool though! I love how the wolf sorta blends in with their hair, the messy sketch around the edges feels like it adds to the chaotic nature of the inner beast. Wonderful job!

It's not a telescope, but there's a free app called 'Stellarium' you can get on your phone. It's a hyper accurate star map that and shows the sky from where you are. You can zoom and search for stars, planets, and constellations. Literally zoomed in on my favourite moon for Jupiter, it's so good.

All Hail the Lamb! That said, I sorta love the clash of colours and messiness. It works well with the chaotic nature of the dark magic they possess. I love what you've done with this 💖

Okay but you make Sans look super intimidating here, even with blood gushing out of him, he still looks like he wants to rip out your spine. It's so cool!

Zevran || Saggitarius optimistic ◆ jovial ◆ good-humored Another older piece (2016), but it's one of my favourite pieces that I worked on. Took ages to find out what zodiac sign suited #Zevran, but it was really fun working on it! #dragonage #dragonageorigins #dao #digitalart #art #zevranarainai

Perfect Aim || Done Been so inspired by all the cool art here, I wanted to post an older piece. This is from 2018 and is my character from the Dragon Age Tabletop. Tiny bit of a murder hobo, mostly towards shem though. #dalishelf #dragonage #digitalart #oc #ocart #art #illustration #dao #tabletop

If You Knew || Redraw With VeilGuard coming out soon, I wanted to post some dragon age art. My Grey Warden: Wolve Mahariel. While there was still a lot of bad about her situation, there was a lot of good too. #dragonage #dragonageart #dragonageorigins #greywarden #dao #dalishelf #digitalart #art

Old sketch on weathered paper. Featuring a blindfolded elf with cuffed wrists, holding a chalice.
Text on the side reading:
If you knew what we had to do, would you still join?
If you knew what we had to sacrifice, would you still step forward?
If you knew all we lost, would you still accept the chalice?
You'll think it's not worth it in the end, but that's because you weren't there.
You haven't seen how much there is to fight, or how many there are to fight for.

Tan elf with long blue-black hair. Blindfolded and shackled. She holds a chalice filled with blood.
Text to the side reads:
If you knew what we had to do, would you still join?
If you knew what we had to sacrifice, would you still step forward?
If you knew what we'd lose, would you still accept the chalice?

Wings ??? || 2024 A sketch that was smaller than the palm of my hand, sketched in a tired moment of school-induced boredom. Transformed into that of a fully coloured phoenix-themed angel. - This art has been poisoned by Nightshade #angel #phoenix #traditional #digital #fire #digitalart

Small messy sketch of an angel with spread wings. Feathers flying everywhere. Made with pen on a scrap of paper.

Angel with red wings coated in fire. A white female humanoid in the center with long blonde hair.

Well it works well on the bg at least XD Dark hair is a bit harder to do that with, because it just feels like their clipping into a black background, at least with my art. This is styled well 😄

Edge and trauma are the best combo though! I love your style here, the minimal colour helps highlight their eye, and the way the hair blends in the first image is so cool!

Videogames for me are a bit of an escape. During High School I had really bad depression, fantasy games helped me escape and put me into the shoes of someone strong enough to shoulder what I was dealing with irl. That and sometimes the relationships you find in games really help cheer you up.

It's especially funny when they're not the only boss, or they're a lesser boss to one you killed prior. Like, imagine killing a god, then this low tier minion starts talking big to you.

My aunt, who does know me, got me the second book in the Hunger Games series, which was really popular at the time. Sometimes I feel relatives are just lazy, hopefully the series isn't too bad?
