Been getting into The Pharcyde recently - namely Bizarre Ride II. It's so ahead of its time. It's sort of jazz-infused hip-hop. The production is amazing, and they're all decent rappers, I do but lose track about what they're going on about half the time www.youtube.com/watch?v=E1eK...

Really am considering whether Premier League football is too pointless to follow now - the top six clubs are locked in via PSR and the rest will never be able to gain entry. Or at least stay there. It’s just illusion.

Reece James, man! Such a talent, must be horrendous having to go through this. Injuries suck! Know he's a millionaire footballer, blah, blah, but it's all relative.

A look at Brighton's Joao Pedro, whose goals per 90 min in the Premier League stands at a quite ridiculous 0.97. (albeit with the caveat of playing less than 400 mins) This on the Brazilian forward, for @sportingliferacing.bsky.social www.sportinglife.com/football/new...

That Mbappe penalty miss was his first shot all game. Other than that he’s made 13 accurate passes out of 17 and won two tackles. Think many were dubious about him signing for RM and it seems to be like his peak is already behind him!

I have every faith that Hojlund will become good eventually but I don’t feel the same about Zirkzee. One was a luxury signing they didn’t need to make and one was a stupid signing they shouldn’t have made.

Worst display of the season. Mostly because it looked like we were finally making headway. Willock and Longstaff shouldn’t be starting. Gordon has performed better this season on the right and Joelinton on the left, so why the change? Unacceptable.

If Sky Sports invites a guest on to be interviewed, they should pay him more respect than allowing some self-important overhyped ginger ferret to wade in and start acting like he is part of the setup. You rob us every month with an obscene subscription fee, be better.

Alex McCarthy at fault again but why are Southampton continuing to adopt a system that they are clearly not good at!? Just go direct - it’s better than shooting yourself in the foot every other game.

Florentino Perez - the world’s biggest club should lead by example and not not throw a hissy fit when one of your players misses out on a Ballon d’Or. Real shame he’s acting like this.

Two shots and five touches in the opposition box for Leicester City so far. Chelsea haven’t even been that good but they’ve been allowed to get right into the final third.

Think that’s 11 goal contributions in 12 Premier League games for Nicholas Jackson. Still not convinced he’ll be the next Aguero/Drogba, but he’s doing the job for Chelsea. Maybe a good thing they didn’t buy a striker over the summer.

Jamie Vardy there, necking a Red Bull as he heads into a Premier League match. He’s last of a dying breed

Appreciate there is a huge surge in interest for academy players, but do think if you have hundreds of thousands of followers, do you really need to be sharing images of 15-year-olds online because they’re being targeted by a Premier League club?

Without making myself too unpopular on day one of Bluesky posting, why are so many journalists ignoring the Maddy Cusack story? Our latest is here: why one of her team-mates has quit playing because she’s so disillusioned by the sport’s response to Maddy’s death. www.nytimes.com/athletic/592...
