It's a habit building thing. It's incredibly hard, believe me, I've hit burnout so many times I lost count, but I always remember that I have an obligation to finish my commissions, and do the work if I want to be at the level I wanna be, if that makes sense.

Oh yeah, and it's really sad when I see an artist I liked for years start making "AI-assisted" drawings, and they started getting even more fuckin money from commissions...

It sounds cruel but- force yourself through it. I've gotten into a habit of every day at least scribbling something on a tablet and then it kinda goes into "well, I'm already here, might as well" there's a saying that goes something like... "appetite comes when you're eating"

And now, people are using tools like ControlNet or inpainting to paint over AI slop, which makes it even harder to spot.

Worst part is — it's getting harder to tell what is and isn't AI. I don't know, like I feel like I trained my eyes to spot it, and then realize that it's gotten less obvious, if that makes sense?
