So life got pretty crazy and with multiple platforms, it’s hard to keep up. As we are seeing these tech companies bend to this administration more and more, I’m actually hoping Bluesky becomes more popular for the spread of information and for artists.

Hi Bluesky, it’s been a while.

A smaller piece I made for the Cactus Gallery in Los Angeles. My black cat, Olivia, has taken to tucking her face under mine when we sleep. #animalarttuesday #artchallenges #artyear #cactusgallery #oilpainting #cats

Taking time my body asked for, more like demanded, but whatever Hope everyone is able to do the same, to look after your needs, spend time with loved ones, and to be gentle with yourself and the world.

Hibernating Chronic pain makes you want to hide like an injured animal being chased. Little too real…might delete later. #pen #watercolor #portrait

If you wanna know why Dems lose all the damned time, right here you go. This kind of bullshit right here. We’ve got an aspiring dictator tearing our country apart and these idiots are still too concerned about decorum and standards. Get these assholes out of office.

Something #soft today. Once upon a time I had two lovable pigeon pets, and fostered many. I do miss them, and hope I'm able to adopt more again when I have more energy. #palomacy #pigeon #MakersmARTch #MkrsmARTch #oilpainting

It's time to call democratic leaders today and tell them to stop being feckless, to stand up to Trump/Elon. We need them to do more. Make noise! Remind them how history remembers figures like Neville Chamberlain, who rolled over for Hitler. Call 202-224-3121 to be directed to your representative.

A little acrylic painting. Definitely not my preferred medium, but can be a great substitute when oils aren't practical. #ARTFLOOD2025 #MakersmARTch #woven

My previous post had a content warning placed on it stated it's "sexually suggestive". It's an oil painting w a partially nude figure. This has happened before on here and the appeal process does nothing. The label says there is no nudity, so showing a bare chest is not the reason for the flag WTF

Trips to nature have always been a kind of therapy for me. It's so disheartening seeing all of our national parks being gutted by this administration. I want to be hopeful, but this is just sad. #sensoryart #februarty #februarty2025 #trees #rough #nokingsday

Waking up to more chaos in the news is wearing so many of us down, and I think that's the point. #monochrome #februarty #februarty2025 #blueskyartshow #oilpainting #contemporaryartist
