Sometimes I think about what I'd say if I suddenly found myself in the past. Pretty sure that if I told someone that my country, Denmark, was currently in alert because we were afraid that POTUS Donald Trump might invade Greenland, I'd immediately be laughed outta the room and into a padded cell.

This. A doctor can't help you with stuff if you don't share, and while we're quite good at seeing through lies - since we get lied to a lot - there's still people who fool us, and that can end up leading to us not being able to help and even harming you unintentionally. Be honest with your doctor.

A detour on a train ride meant I spent an hour waiting for the next train, but it was a good excuse to watch a sunset. I sat alone with my thoughts at the unattended station. Not Japan but still Inaka vibes. Sometimes it's a bliss to be forced to waste time.

During Passover, we talk about the Wicked Child: someone who doesn't see themself as one of those who needed compassion and liberation. If you're sitting at Seder and you look at the people Trump deports to slavery, or trans people he incarcerates, and you don't think "us"? You failed the test.
