We're not quite where we need to be to be sustainable - I still gotta hustle freelance and Mark still has a FT job - but we're building something. And I truly believe writing about videogames _matters_. That it's important. And I'm just so stoked so many people already feel that too.

About 50% of our funding will end up being for creatives. That rules and honestly dwarfs rates that I've seen for major publishers, including the ABC. (shame!!) About 10% into design. Another 25% for printing and distribution. The other 15% goes into Issue 02.

Honestly think the decisions should be, at least partially, transparent. Explain why its RC within the context of the game. They kind of had to put out a statement because there was speculation the developers were pulling the wool a bit here... Now we know for sure they submitted.

That isn't something they reveal without FOI'ing em, I don't think. But there are some reports that you can smoke weed and this allows you to see the location of Mike Myers or something. Not Shrek Mike Myers. The other one.
