I'll never understand why coreDNS remains an add-in. There's no world in which Kubernetes isn't running on TCP/IP based networks where it might operate meaningfully without DNS.

There are few more frustrating moments than watching people dither in the run up to easily avoidable crises. “Hey this is getting deprecated on date, can we change before then?” *dithering management noises* “Ah who could have foreseen this now urgent problem!?”
