I see SO many movies & shows each year, I started keeping track in my note app w/ a score a few years ago So many, I lose track of the less impactful ones Thinking I'm gonna start tracking em chronologically vs alphabetically next year & maybe move to Tier vs Number system 😂

As a cross platform gamer I feel people sleep on Xbox Play Anywhere Being able to bounce between the TV and PC with no issues and save sync is great And while I don't care about 100% completion, I hate to admit I do still prefer Gamerscore over Steam Achievements

Games like Mortal Shell 2 and Aliens Fireteam Elite 2 costing $50 for the standard edition is a small start to the healing

Thinking about it, there's 6 games releasing in the next 2 months I'd rather play than Wolverine Aliens Fireteam Elite 2 Control Resonant Minecraft Dungeons 2 Gears E-Day Star Wars Galactic Racer Valor Mortis

One day, probably 2028 or 2029, I'll likely buy myself a prebuilt gaming PC with all the most modern parts Whatever is mid-tier Ryzen X3D CPU RTX 6070/6080 GPU DDR6 RAM if it exists NVME5 or 6 SSD The absolute works

The Play Anywhere PC version of Shadow of War is busted (doesn't create saves) & I refuse to play it stuck at 30FPS on console Rebought the full version on G2A for $7 for Steam cuz playing at 130FPS on max settings is goated Sucks I gotta restart, but I never got past Act 1

Almost Burp'n @jackomack.bsky.social · 02/08/2026

Unlocked the Crucible Sword in Doom Eternal last night Hot take: The Dark Ages is still a better game Better combat, better movement, better gameplay mechanics, better sound design, better Doom Slayer vibe and ultra hot take... better music (2016 was better than Eternal) #bet

I'm no Financial Wiz, but if first party Xbox games were to not be Day 1 on Game Pass I think a MW4 hybrid model could work? If you buy a 1st party on GP it's 20% discount; push to 6 months, bump the discount by like 10-20% for subs for buy incentive then back to 20% like now

I can't help but laugh at people upset about "historical accuracy" in the adaptation of the 3000 year old fantasy tale

@ferriswheelpro.bsky.social seems to be the case with alotta games, I try lower settings for higher performance, then I see what FPS I lose going to high/ulta/max and lose, at most 10-15%, which is generally fully playable if I started at 70-100FPS

000

Almost Burp'n @jackomack.bsky.social · 12/07/2026

@ferriswheelpro.bsky.social Started playing Black Flag last night Funny thing... I was getting 60-65 FPS at medium/high Bumped to ultra on everything and still fully playable at 50-60 FPS

110

Almost Burp'n @jackomack.bsky.social · 08/07/2026

As an aside... As it seems Blizzard FINALLY fixed Diablo 4 performance issues for PC, I'm getting 100-130 FPS what is well beyond the console fidelity mode at 30FPS

010

Almost Burp'n @jackomack.bsky.social · 08/07/2026

H4xx0r! I have PS6+/Helix level hardware, so it's my best option, visually and in performance

110

Almost Burp'n @jackomack.bsky.social · 08/07/2026

While I'd prefer playing Black Flag Resynced on console (I'm a bit of a sucker for Xbox achievements whenever possible) I'd much rather play max settings at 60-100 FPS on PC vs the 30 FPS fidelity mode or even 60 FPS mediocre mode @ferriswheelpro.bsky.social where are you playing it?
