I don’t believe in fake Trafalgar polls but ‪so many people think polarization will continue when it wasn’t even true in the 2024 presidential year ‬

We been doing several wars for fun and admittedly it’s par for the course for a GOP admin but how is Hegseth still our defense secretary is beyond me. GOP at least used to take their wars seriously

funny thingabout the polling discourse is that GOP lost big in 2006 under exact same conditions if not worse what we have right now. The only big difference is that economy was fine in 2006 unlike right now

Electorate hated Dems ending one forever war so much we elected another Republican to start a brand new one but this time with added benefits of ruining the entire world economy

Vote GOP so we can all go to war with Canada is an excellent midterm message

Not sure if it has any implications for the general but at least the GOP base has been showing pure dislike for their incumbents across the board; something I don’t recall seeing like ever in any primary

Something people aren’t realizing yet but US congress is a dead institution and all the future president gets free rein to do whatever corruption they want; if both chambers of congress don’t flip this cycle.

Is it just me or ossoff is the sole major candidate actively running against tariffs and Iran war; tying both of them to current economic conditions. The job market recession, high inflation, struggling economy are direct result of these two, it’s perplexing Dems aren’t going all in on it

My two cents on MI polling miss is that states like Alaska Montana Maine Nevada are also hard to poll states. So far atlas intel and NYT have been the sole pollsters who have a better track record in polling

The only two things of note from WA primary I would say is * Dems won WA-03 outright so the variety of outlets who are still rating that seat as a tossup should finally eat the crow * WA-05 could very well be in play

Jack @jackisjake.bsky.social · 04/08/2026
Doesn’t even feel like WA primary is today and honestly I haven’t been paying that much attention to it. The only notable thing is turnout is way down from 2022 so it does look like WA gonna do its own thing like in 2024 so no need to read too much into it anymore

This entire admin and party turning out to be bloodthirsty who wants wars 24/7 all 365 days, D+11 seems tame to me

Randomly remembering Feb 2024 polling when Haley was winning general by like 18 points and winning Wisconsin by 15. In retrospect GOP would have been better off had Haley won the nomination. They would have solid majorities in congress and she would have governed like Trump but with competence

lol this is like yet another candidate who will make Michigan senate seat a nail biter in a blue wave environment
120
Jack @jackisjake.bsky.social · 13/06/2026
A lot of election nerds on either side of the aisle completely forgot that Kamala Harris always over performed on the ballot regardless of the national environment while Vance underperformed in one single election he ran in a red state under a blue president

Republicans control everything right now and the only thing they managed to do is start new wars and pass a tax cuts for the rich. Not one single policy they passed has improved any of our lives in any meaningful way

Jack @jackisjake.bsky.social · 30/05/2026
The side effect of GOP voters being crazy is that nearly all national attention will go to the Texas race and Iowa Ohio Alaska will go heavy under the radar
140
Jack @jackisjake.bsky.social · 19/05/2026
It’s so funny Trump made the house dysfunctional and as GOP senate was looking pretty decent Trump decided to nuke that chamber as well

Jack @jackisjake.bsky.social · 18/05/2026
Everything aside, we have a very strong case in the making that this is a failed presidency
030
Jack @jackisjake.bsky.social · 08/05/2026
Can’t even ask Dems to vote, the courts will just strike down election results if they don’t like them

Virginia Supreme Court struck down the new maps passed by the voters
010
Jack @jackisjake.bsky.social · 06/05/2026
True but this also happened for republicans who managed to elect some of the worst possible candidates. Will Indiana GOP suffer a backlash from general electorate who knows but so far the consensus has been that GOP did pay the price in several races

Jack @jackisjake.bsky.social · 04/05/2026
Winning that seat in Maine and flipping Iowa Ohio Texas should be the dem priority number one.

Jack @jackisjake.bsky.social · 04/05/2026
As partisan as I am, I still do not want this presidency to fail because everyone would struggle but it’s looking more and more likely that we are heading towards a generationally failure of a presidency.

One man and one party has started trade wars, wars with other countries, gerrymandering wars at home. American media which has long crowned itself as jewel of democracy cares very little for any of this

Jack @jackisjake.bsky.social · 30/04/2026
Don’t worry, it will be fixed once we build three more ballrooms

Lmao gas gonna hit $10 at this rate on the west coast I am absolutely cooked

Jack @jackisjake.bsky.social · 29/04/2026
We lost ROE v Wade, voting rights act, environmental protections are all gutted, a Republican president has complete kingly immunity. I don’t even know what will happen if mail in ballots are rendered unconstitutional, that’s how I have voted all my life. Brutal consequences for losing scotus

Jack @jackisjake.bsky.social · 28/04/2026
Kind of frustrating that economy is going through self inflicted pain while reporters are obsessed about ballroom renovations

Jack @jackisjake.bsky.social · 28/04/2026
Beto didn’t lead in one single poll against Ted Cruz in 2018

Jack @jackisjake.bsky.social · 28/04/2026
All props to stancil but if Dems wins the house impeachment is happening but Dems in red districts aren’t going to run on it. Jeffries is outright lying but that’s his job to be the shield for red district candidates
130
Jack @jackisjake.bsky.social · 28/04/2026
Why is no one making a case for an average voter that we not only have to pay for tariffs, $80 for full tank, Iran war, but also for a dumb ballroom
110
Jack @jackisjake.bsky.social · 17/12/2025
I have had my doubts about Jeffries but he seems to have a better handle on house proceedings than Mike Johnson. We are never getting a new Nancy Pelosi but this is good political maneuver
140
Jack @jackisjake.bsky.social · 17/12/2025
It’s a trump+21 seat but i am just glad that democrats in that district won’t have to vote for Newhouse anymore

Tell the crypto bros in your life to hold their bags in the new Trump ballroom

Alright congratulations mayor elect Katie Wilson

Jack @jackisjake.bsky.social · 11/11/2025
If Rachel maddow is criticizing Schumer leadership, I just don’t know how he survives this

Jack @jackisjake.bsky.social · 10/11/2025
Schumer says he is voting no on the CR
020
Jack @jackisjake.bsky.social · 05/11/2025
I am not certain if Katie Wilson wins the mayoral race in Seattle. Turnout was awful but remaining ballots for sure will be in her advantage. It all depends on how hard they break for her but it’s still a tough climb

Real winner tonight is actually vote blue no matter who crowd

Jack @jackisjake.bsky.social · 05/11/2025
Honestly the chances they strike Venezuela soon increases now. Trump loves to dominate the headlines and he might find the normal GOP way to do it
140
Jack @jackisjake.bsky.social · 05/11/2025
PA Supreme Court races are brutal for the GOP. The state is voting like it’s a solid blue state

Jack @jackisjake.bsky.social · 05/11/2025
First time polls underestimated Dems in NJ it seems
0100
Jack @jackisjake.bsky.social · 05/11/2025
VA is total sweep. NJ Mikie wins easily. Now we see if VA Dems can win 62-64 in the house and if NJ Dems can gain in state leg

Jack @jackisjake.bsky.social · 21/10/2025
Schumer so far has succeeded in getting everyone Dems wanted to run for the senate so I am hopeful peltola runs here.

Jack @jackisjake.bsky.social · 20/10/2025
By the way, tariffs are the largest tax hikes on Americans in a generation. Gray Davis was recalled in CALIFORNIA of all places over raising car taxes. It’s not going to be just democrats who are enraged at the current admin
030
Jack @jackisjake.bsky.social · 19/10/2025
funny to read this from Chris Hayes where he says old way is dying. Fox News still has sky high viewership and Chris Hayes himself only benefits whenever Rachel maddow shows up on MSNBC. Simple problem with democrats is the problem Hayes himself has, neither knows how to generate headlines

Jack @jackisjake.bsky.social · 19/10/2025
It sucks that there is virtually no Dem outrage machine and he will get away with literally shitting on 60% of America. His largest voter base actually lives in the cities and he is shitting on them

Jack @jackisjake.bsky.social · 19/10/2025
A lot of republicans will try to downplay today’s protests including may be some from the left but these events historically have a larger impact. Will it sway voters? Who knows but these kind of movements have always played a huge role in American politics
