There's a propensity, in some of you, to see a politician doing something harmful, and to excuse it as a strategic move. You don't interrelate it, you dig your heels in and hope that the system, or the individual, is gonna work out. You need to get rid of that instinct. It is reactionary.

We aren't dogpiling a trans woman. We're voicing our anger at a politician with POWER to help us who is choosing to be a self-serving coward. This isn't some trivial online feud. This isn't some e-celeb influencer with bad opinions. This is someone who can materially affect us.

It isn't any more of a distraction than any of the other vile bills or executive orders the republicans want to pass. This will harm trans people. Even in a blue state, my friends I wouldn't be allowed to use the bathroom in federal buildings or state parks. This is segregation, not a distraction.
