Creepshow Cinema Night #5: THE CHANGELING (1979) A strange hybrid of haunted-house movie and CHINATOWN-style murder mystery, with an opening sequence that prefigures Kieslowski's THREE COLORS: BLUE in odd ways. The George C. Scott character is even a composer!

I wrote a song to end with a long guitar solo, 48 bars, and I want it to be A Statement; something with structure. I've been noodling for a few days with tape rolling, capturing ideas, and while I've generated some decent licks I'm not really getting the shape of the thing, and so with a heavy sigh
