Attempt 1: buttermilk biscuits from allrecipes.com Results: I need to work on my technique when adding cold butter and rolling out dough. Still has a good flake and distinct layers despite this. Recipe said I would have 12 biscuits and I wound up with 15.

In 2003 or 2004 I became OBSESSED with finding a copy of Brewster McCloud. At the time it was out of print on vhs and hadn’t come out on DVD yet. I scoured Houston video stores for weeks before finding it at Cactus records and it was the highlight of my year. RIP, Bud.
