But it's worse. The person who tried to make me apply for a job I had never done said that they were subject to a similar quota system. I had to apply for 20 jobs a month, they had to match X number of people up with anything a month. If neither of us did, I lose the dole & they lose their job.

They don't help anyone find a job that matches their experience or training. I applied for 200 jobs before giving up when they told me to apply for jobs that I'd never done!!

From there, you can open a rabbit warren. The trick is to ask the right questions that give multiple possibilities you desire. That's a skill.
